If you want, you could use a foam brush as it tends to not leave the brush marks plus using a soft toothbrush very gently will help in removing all of that stuck on paper off. Lovely work.
exactly what I thought I had learned YEARS ago..and all these videos with extra supplies and all these products and ..this is the one. thanks ☆☆appreciated
While watching this I realised that I've done some high quality decoupage when I was 5! I transferred so many newspapers on my grandma's door as high and wide as I could reach! 😂
@Toniarosewp79 I think regular printer paper would be best. Many photos papers have a coating on the back to make them more durable. It would be harder to remove/rub off the paper at the end, I think.
These are so freaking cool! I am building out a 1988 chevy to travel and live out of while I work in film but during the build I have so many pieces that I miscut and this is such a fun way to use the wood! Thank you for sharing your art!
Yes this can be done on any printer paper. In Word you can insert circle shape and format the circle image. Copy the image you want inside and use format to insert image from clipboard.
I didn't know I could crop into a circle. It gives you that option. I did my first ones squares, then I copied pasted a few images into word and croped in the form of a circle.
The question is can you use a reg picture that was developed at a photo stand. If I recall I had done this for a project and what was used was a print out from a picture but it had to be from a laser printer. So which way did you use? It’s important for us viewers to know
Would this same process work with illustrations & art I collect from greeting cards? I cut out & save beautiful pictures from cards that I think would make nice decoupage on wooden coasters.
Foam brush is best nice tutorial fun stuff you can do this with fancy napkins and magazine pictures for jewelry boxes letter boxes etc thanks for great fun ideas
Hi. I also have some questions for you: 1- before the procedure, is there anything on the slice of wood? 2- is the image somehow in the mirror ... to be printed properly? 3-What glue do you put on the image when you turn it over? 4- I saw that after it dried up you came across another lake ... what lake is it?5-on what type of paper is the picture printed? I'm from Romania .... the products probably have a different name here .... that's why I ask ... thank you in advance
Ați descoperit până la urmă ce produse a folosit? Poate vedeți și îmi spuneți și mie, va rog, ce putem folosi la noi in țară. Mulțumesc, pace și lumina!
Once the photo dries after wiping off the top layer of paper there's a bit more of white that becomes very noticable after the water disappears especially on the darker parts of the picture. Is there a way to remove this detail without actually rubbing off the photo? I haven't put the final layer of mod podge on it yet. Will that help?
I'm wondering the exact same thing. I am at that point and I don't know if I should just go for it or wait. I donni. Not many of my images turned out how I wanted them to
@@jeepgirl1021 it ended up working as a gloss and made the pic come out perfectly fine afterwards. dont mind the little extra white and try not to rub your actual photo off. it really does end up coming out very nice
I have a question : need I to print the photo on photo page in printer 🖨️ or I can print the photo on regular paper printer to make the transfer with mod podge? I ask because I don’t have photo paper to print right now . Gracias 😊
Looked like regular printing paper which I’ve used in the past. I’m looking for answers too. I have a photo on actual photo paper I wanted to know if that could be used but I don’t see any questions being answered
Wil this work if u have an inkjet printer? Also I wanted to add nice heart background tissue paper behind the photo. Would I first do the tissue paper onto the wood and then the photo? I don't want the hearts from tissue paper to come through the kids head, if that makes sense
Thanks! I want to do this with my crafty granddaughter. I have a question about the printing. Is that any special printer paper and does it absolutely have to be laser?
Im trying to do this for my brother's 6th year wedding anniversary. I want this to be perfect! So I went to Walmart and printed a few photos to do this since wood is the "modern" 6th year wedding anniversary gift. But I'm now wondering if photo paper can be used with this!?? What kind of paper will work for this??
Hi , just saw this vid and I found this awesome. May I ask if how many months or years will the picture on wood last? Does it fade or it's long lasting?
If you want, you could use a foam brush as it tends to not leave the brush marks plus using a soft toothbrush very gently will help in removing all of that stuck on paper off. Lovely work.

Can v do this on plastic n glass material???
😂😂😂
Do you have to use a photo laser printer? Or can we use regular paper print and then just print out the pictures?
I was hoping to find the answer to the same question.
Did you happen to find out? Also, can we use regular paper or does it have to be photo paper?
Laser printer works better
Which paper?
Do you print in reverse or regular way ?
@Toniarosewp79 I think regular printer paper would be best. Many photos papers have a coating on the back to make them more durable. It would be harder to remove/rub off the paper at the end, I think.
Wow .. Thank you for sharing 🥰.. can you please tell me if you treated the wood first ???
Nice, thanks for sharing. That looks really easy.

Question? Do you print this on photo paper or regular printer paper?
Is this printed on just regular paper? And how do I make my image that I'm printing a circle?
That’s what I need to know

This is lovely. Will it work if I apply a printed photo onto a larger slab of wood that's been sanded down to a very smooth surface?
That is such a smart and cute idea, thank you!!!!

You can get those on Amazon.
Search for "Natural wood slices" on Amazon.

Is it necessary to add the last coat of mod podge?
You don't need to, but it seals the photo so it will stay intact for longer :)
