You need to replace the waterproof screen seal every time you open the phone up.
Yes, thats very true. The waterproof sealing is ruined the second the screen came off.

Phoxxel never said "water proof." You can read reviews any way you want. A seal is one thing...but to trust it for water resistance is a no go.

There's no water resistant wire exactly, its just a glue/sealant. But yes, when removing the screen, the water resistance gets ruined.

man you ain't gotta do none of this. just go online get a red dbrand skin take your black iPhone 7 and put the red dbrand skin on the back. Go to Amazon order a black Apple logo emblem put that on the back then you have a iPhone 7 with a black front with a red back with a black Apple logo. I've seen people do this before all this swapping screens and stuff is a waste of time people think way too much into this. you can also do this with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well.

Technically no, when screen comes off the waterproof sealing gets ruined. You could re-apply the sealing if you wanted to though, but there's no promise that it will ever be certified water resistant again.

Sorry but why am I the only one that agrees with Apple that the red with the black screen looks absolutely disgusting. It looks dark and gloomy, almost like a vampire and it doesn't really match... Not something that Apple would ever do.
You're definitely not the only one who thinks so. There's a thread on MacRumors where a vast majority of people don't seem to like it either because they say it isn't "Apple-like"
