- This is as close it gets folks! I’m inspired by my Friend Marvin who owns a local Detroit style pizzeria called R Town Pizza in my hometown of Reno Nevada! I hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching! Cheers everyone!

For some reason, when he said “let’s hear this crunch” i immediately thought of the most authentic fake, poorly added crunch for laughs sake lol.

Yo! This pizza looks great! One tip from a native detroiter who worked at many a detroit style pizza places from buddys to jets is to place a ridiculous amount of oil in the pan before you start stretching. Like a fluid ounce at least. This helps with super cruchy crusts by almost frying the dough in the pan. Great first attempt. 👍
I'm a Chicagoan, and I openly admit that Detroit has my favorite style of pizza in the world.

Wow, so my wife and I had some really good pizza from one of the better local places out here in Albuquerque last week, and because we have this fairly new combo air fryer toaster oven, we put the leftovers in there and that got even crispier and toastier but I could absolutely go for the version you just made right now!! That looks absolutely amazing!! 🍕🍕🍕🍕
