It's coming together great. As a marine mechanic, I would definitely appreciate all of the access space you're creating, it's awesome. I think you have a great deal of talent and forethought, and I appreciate the explanation of what you're doing, how, and why. Keep up the good content, now, get back to work.
@@carpturnalnailer just like most everything else...the designers are just that, they're not the techs working on the shit. There are a few bass boat companies out there that do great things for us such as Falcon, Ballistic, and Phoenix...and a few others, working in their craftsmanship is a breath of fresh air.
Caymas dealer here. And they by far have the best lay out for pump access. And wiring is pretty sweet too. Still a fan of the ole Champion ride but oh removing them gas tanks to change a pump...
It's coming together, and it's going to be AWESOME!!!! The deck layout around the motor turned out really nice, and I think those large hatches that will give plenty of access to the engine compartment. I really like the smooth slant on the front of the exhaust cover which will probably cut down on any wind noise that a sharper angle might create, it looks nice! Can't wait to see the next video! And Matt, keep up the great content and be safe!!! Enjoying every minute of this build!!!!
Really like all the adjustments you made on that back deck. Tons of engine and component access. Can't wait to see what you come up with on that engine hood.
Too late now but was the 180 deg piece between the transom and the waterbox necessary? The silicone 90 could have been rotated and eliminate the hump in the deck. Or so it seems from my house ;-) Great work.
@@TRICKEDTINS There are a few fittings coming off of the water box going to the thru transom exhaust fitting. 1 is a silicone 90 (black) it adjoins a tube that does a 180 bend and joins the tube exiting the transom. Is the 180 necessary?
Absolutely love it!!! Eyes have been glued to the screen ... lol -- Honestly, 31mins and it seemed like maybe 10; that's good content right there!!!! : ) Modding that exhaust a bit would make it a bit easier I think -- but that's me. Any thought on expelling the heat? --- Just thinkin' ...... This thing is gonna be SICK!!!! Be Safe
Haha thanks. I'm going to have some air vents in the back deck area. Probably some type of fan also. This is all new to me, so the comments and ideas are welcome!
Could I get a quote on an aluminum fuel tank? My factory tank has a few holes in it and I really want to replace it. It’s 40”x24”x6” (LxWxH). Thank you. I can’t find any shops local to me in Savannah Georgia that will do it🤦🏻♂️
Unfortunately, there's not much I can do. I'm not thrilled about it myself but, There just is not enough clearance to run the muffler the way the customer wants it. The only option would be to raise the entire back deck and he does not want to do that either. I don't think it will be that big of a deal when it is all said and done.

Thanks man i really appreciate that!
That ain't no joke I'd love to meet some of the designers of the boats I ve worked on... But that's big manufacturers for ya lol

Nice! It’s coming together. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

@@TRICKEDTINSawesome build my friend, where do you get your motors from?
Awsome!!! Can't wait to see the motor cover and how you tie it all together.

Thanks brotha! Love the feedback!
Matt, you do fantastic work. Thanks!
Thanks brotha
Such a great build. Lots of room for creativity. Looking forward to how it is going to turn out!
Thanks brotha!
Wow I'm enjoying watching this build. nice job
Appreciate it.

I have no clue what you are talking about?

Beast boat, love it. I am in the beginning stages of my 1436. Many great ideas are floating. What type of tig did you settle with and why?
Thanks. I own a welding shop. We have dozens of welders. Im using a Dynasty 210 in this video. Its a bad ass unit!
Would love to see you do some work on one of the heavier gauge aluminum boats that are popular in the PNW and Alaska.
I would love to do a build like that.
Looking sharp!
Thanks
Dude this build is badass! Will you still be able to remove the motor if needed?
Thanks, brotha. Yes, you will be able to remove the motor if you have to. It will have enough clearance around the big hatch.

Great video you make it look easy, but I know it's due to ALOT of experience fabricating. I like the hump looks like something from a stealth fighter!
Thanks brotha! I think its cool. Going to give it character.
Do you sell any merch?
Im working on it. I have 2 snow camo hats left. If you want one pm me on ig or fb. Links in discription
Why not cut and reroute the exhaust
Its tricky. Bc it goes thru that big muffler .
Shorten the radius at the muffler, or flex it entirely - bump on the deck ? Nah think that over more -

There is a problem if you gotta tell yourself to get back to work 50 times a video.
Keep watching and commenting!
