I would to see you build a bow cover with a windshield. You can probably get the windshield for cheap from one of the boat junkyards. Cover the engine compartment in wood, plywood, maybe aluminum, and coat the engine compartment with sound deadener where it does not get wet. An aluminum fishing boat from 16 to 18 feet long, will feel like it is running from the police when it is doing 20 mph. Keep up the good work!

It worked pretty good, but I didn't have it mounted well enough so it came loose and started spraying water in the boat. I will be redoing the exhaust to go through the transom instead of over it this spring.
