Ok, so my Dad past away years. Defiantly my greatest hero. He was a mans dad if ya know what I mean. Don't have nothing from my dad but a few photos. 1 day at my moms, helping in her yard I tipped over a tarp and here lies this same boat. Was my dads dream to fix this boat but he always poured money into us. So here lies my journey this time to fix this boat, I know he will be here fixing it with me!!!! Now to save some dam money!!! 4 kids are draining, same battle, but I will over come!!!

I did that to my 8foot jon boat when I was a kid like 35 years ago o I did it out of plywood so it was probably a little heavier than that one but mine did ok in calm waters but in rough waters it was a little bit of a problem. Lol but I keep it like that for a long time. It was great for bass fishing in small lakes. You did nice work good job.

With all the talent in that room you guys could merge into your own boat building business and blow up TBN / NCB / FewMan / PCB / Fireant / JDS / AR to a Nationwide brand. @@AdamRyanA thanks for the ballpark number,,,, most (everyone else??) would never do that. It’s not unreasonable and the end prod is worth it really. You would never get a factory made boat of similar build/quality for double that! AND they have the economies of scale in buying bulk products! If you had Nate build the actual hull as well, I’m sure it would get close to the $16K mark, but I really thing a manufactured boat built by a factory would run $20K - $22K as outfitted.

Definitely a fan of the build. What was the cost? Was this like a 30k build 🤔.
Wish you would have addressed the outside of the hull and a tiller setup seemed to be a little 😕. Still some truly awesome metal work 👏.

Hey Bro, what kind of pop rivet and rivets do I need to go through my aluminum boat. I’m only putting a couple things on the boat. Anchor cleat and a electric switch?

I would use 3/16 blind rivets, and the length of the rivet just depends how thick the material you’re going through is

I love the build, but I do question how long all those rivets stay tight. Jon boats take a beating

With all the aluminum, riveting, time you guys did you could build a brand new boat to put that in 😂

I’m curious to what TBN, Fireant, and Tin Can could build from the ground up. From Hull to finished boat. That would be a freaking sweet ass boat

Nate actually builds his from scratch, welds the hull together and all

@@AdamRyanA is that Fireant? I never remember names. Also have you guys ever thought about doing something like Salt Boat Works FRS 16 or 18?
