I will never be able to play without Strong back because I just can't control myself when it comes to scavenging! Even when loving to play with companions I also like Wanderer because of the first part ^^ (Rank 1 extra carry weight)
Blame the settlement system, so much of your loot to be sent into the scrapper just for an extra bed and turret. And then a Super Mutant eats one of them putting the bugged downgrade of happiness to that impossible settlement achievement!?
I have taken to carrying a second set of armour with me that is the lightest I could find but has the Deep Pockets mod on all pieces. It's a really effective way of wearing a combat suit to clear out an area and then change into a lugging suit to begin looting.

Maxed out Ghoulish is good. I will fight people on this. You never have to worry about Rads and Radaway ever again. It lets you walk through the Glowing Sea and Far Harbor fog without incident. It makes perks like Lead Belly, Rad Resistence, and aqua boy/girl completely worthless. Combined with Lifegiver and Solar Powered it makes healing supplies nearly worthless.
That's an interesting way of looking at things. Getting certain combo of perks to totally make others not worthwhile taking. I've not really looked at things from that point of view before, thanks for sharing.
@@TrappedInFallout I guess I’ll add an amendment to this and say Aqua Boy Rank 1 is still useful, but the downside of not getting it isn’t really an issue with Ghoulish, also that you’ll still take minor Rad damage in the Glowing Sea and Far Harbor, but you’ll significantly cut down on the amount of chems you’ll need to carry on you and Power Armor will be optional as opposed to an absolute necessity for crossing those areas.
Aqua boy/girl would STILL give you a place to go if you want to hide from enemies. I also am not sure but we might yet see an unofficial mod in New Lands category where the new worldspace is very much covered in water. Some mod makers may get the idea the nuclear war devastated some parts of the USA or the world like that. If I remember correct, it has been a feature in some Mad Max like movies too.

@@roshee5573they both have to skill up while traveling with you. they both start at novice I believe and upgrade every like 5 locks of highest rank openable.
@@SnowRevol54 yeh I know but I’ve had the glitch out on me so often I just don’t use them . They are sometimes successful and sometimes not on the same level safe or computer . Prefer my own skill to rely on
That's fair enough but it can be avoided saver. I tend to at least get that first rank to allow me to travel different parts of the commonwealth with ease especially on survival mode.
In the few areas where you have to dive, like the quarry, the thought of drowning terrifies me, so this perk is great for my peace of mind. Also, I can take shortcuts across bodies of water now without worrying about getting irradiated by stepping into a puddle. :)

If you want to take the list, even the footage and make a proper video about it, it's all yours. the information is accurate and i haven't seen something like it, most of the lists on youtube just are about legendary weapons but not about the rare drops that you can farm :) good video btw!

@@TrappedInFallout heey, glad you liked it, that playthrough has more days played than i'd like to admit hahaha. if you decide to do the video keep this in mind for those annoying people in the comments: the explosive minigun and shotgun are technically best, but the spin before shooting is annoying for me so i didnt rank it that high, and the shotgun is too much risk. 1 shot too close and you just 1 shot yourself, but it packs more power than any other weapon by a lot, i think it even hits harder than the big boy if all 8 pallets hit the target

I totally agree. It's very rare I play Fallout 4 without both perks, and some others also mentioned in this list.

Totally agreed. You can bring Nick or Cait along and that will help but it's always better to have ranks in the perks yourself.
That may be the case but I’ve experienced times when they can not unlock the devices . That’s frustrating

Same here, it's one of the first early perks I get.
Never really used the Aqua Boy or Aqua Girl perks. I'm rarely in water long enough to worry about drowning or radiation damage.
