Another great interview. Robert Holmes' music is among the finest from all of videogame history. I'm particularly fond of his work on Wagner's lost opera in Gabriel Knight 2. It's so well executed that one can believe that Wagner wrote it himself!
Yeah, he was pretty awesome, wasn't he? Such a fascinating career and a genuinely nice guy. And I agree about the opera. Stunning how he pulled that off.

Really love his Dark Theme, Ludwig and Prologue theme for Gabriel Knight 2. But everything he's done has been in so much more that I have appreciated as well.

Robert Holmes always has been one of my favorites video game composers and I felt extremely lucky to have known his music from Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter and Moebius Empire Rising (I also felt extremely lucky to have discovered Sierra games when I was young).
