    My family have gotten so hooked on Greek food .They love all the new tastes . It got my family to love spinach witch I could not get them to eat in the past .this makes for such a nice dinner that is so easy.

    I can't believe you and I are alike with regards to spinach pie. I've done the strudel one for yrs. At party's it's the first thing gone. 😊

    Finally got to make this again recently (I have a 3 month old baby and was off the soft cheeses during my pregnancy) and I'd really missed it. You got my 6 year old eating spinach, too! I think she ate more of it than I did.

    This is perfect - my local supermarket used to do fresh spinach pasties that I loved, but sadly they stopped selling them. I'll definitely be making this!

    Been making spanakopita since I've been a kid... We always use the phyllo dough and the frozen spinach... I saw your video here and I was curious because I always wanted to make it with puff pastry but I never knew how since the frozen spinach would not have allowed me to do that... So two weeks ago I made spanakopita exactly the way you made it, except I tweaked it a little bit like adding a little bit more feta ..... It was fantastic even my father liked it... I'm even making one tomorrow for Christmas... And you know how Greek father's could be...efxaristo and Merry xmas

    We had this for dinner tonight. They were more tangle than braid and I had to substitute chives for the dill (couldn't find it anywhere) but they were delicious! My super-fussy 5 year old liked it to, and the 20-month-old (even more fussy) at least tasted it.

    I’ve been making my spinney look at that with puff pastry for years because sometimes I can’t get filo I make around one and I twist it like a star like us sunshine very nice

    Such a wonderful recipe! Definitely will give it a try this holiday season. Is it possible to assemble this strudel the night before and just keep it in the fridge? Then bake it the next day

    I followed your recipe . It came out crispy and nice on the surface but the inside dough got soggy and was undercooked :( . FYI cooked it for 1 hour... what do you recommend to avoid this?

    Spinach & Feta is one of my favorite!! I need to make this recipe it looks so delicious! Where do you get your parchment paper it looks so much thicker. The one I get always seems to burn on the edges especially if the recipe has a higher cooking temperature. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe :)

      I believe it can be. The egg it to make it fluffy. You'll still have the flavor you need to make it taste good.

    when I made the apple puff pastry it tasted delicious!!! Sadly, when I made the slits on the puff I made them straight and not on an angle.....it looks like a pastry in a straight-jacket lol

    Can I keep in the fridge longer? Something like; can I like prepare it in the morning, leave in the fridge and cook in the evening?

      Yes! You can also assemble it and freeze it up to a month ahead of time. No need to thaw it!! Bake it straight out of the freezer until puffed and golden. If it browns too fast, cover with foil :)

    Would garlic be a good substitute for dill? Not a fan of dill...

      You can just leave the dill out and add some mint. Garlic would be nice, but it should be sauteed in some olive oil until soft and golden to mellow out the flavor. Enjoy!
