Finally a list that doesn't put on top these useless obscure thrash metal bands. You can't beat the classics. I would have put reign in blood and beneath the remains higher in the list (even if I consider beneath the remains death metal) but it's a solid list anyway
For me, no matter what record they are putting out Sodom wins I love and own physical copies of most of these records / bands, but my fav will always be Sodom

I would give 'Rust in Peace' the number 2 spot, and depending on my mood that day, it might even be number 1. Either way, considering Mustaines' influence on 'Ride The Lightening' AND 'Master of Puppets', 'Mustainica' takes the top 3 spots. I think another one or two Megadeth albums could've made it in there... Their first four albums are probably worthy. And after all, they're one of the only bands keeping thrash alive... 'United Abominations', 'Endgame' & 'The Sick, The Dying and The Dead', also might be worthy... And, isn't Slayer more Death Metal than they are Thrash? ... same for some of those other bands. Looking at about the top twelve though, and considering that he's actually sticking with it, one might consider Dave Mustaine the king of thrash metal.... No?
Honestly I can kinda understand the exclusion of crossover thrash but excluding tech thrash just seems stupid. It's a really shitty term of a microgenre which really just serves purpose to differentiate music a single bit better on RYM. You wouldn't listen to "Semtex Revolution" and say that it's not eligible for a list like this, there's barely any substantial difference between the two terms, it's just proggy thrash, but still thrash. One wouldn't exclude "None So Vile" from a best death metal records list.

Impossibile, poi, che su una lista di 40 possano restare fuori cose tipo Coroner, Agent Steel, Voivod o Prong e ci sono quasi discografie intere di una stessa band (TUTTO degli Slayer, quasi tutto dei Metallica compreso And Justice che, insomma, è deboluccio... Poi svariati titoli degli Over kill e manca Feel The Fire, autentico capolavoro thrash! Mah :')))
