I really wish tht mark hadn’t abolished the viltrumites custom of growing a moustache. This was the only superhero universe where superheroes had moustache instead of clean shaved or stubbles like other universes
Mustaches have a long history of association with war, violence, and conquest. The entire point of the new rule of no mustaches for viltrimites is basically a way of saying they now seek peace instead of war. I went off the assumption he was only half viltrumite given I'm still catching up on the comics, and Nolan said it himself. But research shows Nolan also said Mark's viltrumite DNA had overriden his human DNA, and he's full viltrumite due to a technicality of him being both an heir of the emperor. Also due to the fact earth's ecosystem didn't stop his viltrumite DNA taking over while he was conceived.
