I have a Piaggio Zip with airsal 70cc aluminum single segment, Yasuni R and Dellorto 17.5 with original air box and two 10mm holes and I'm having a lot of difficulty tuning it. The best I can do at the moment is with 4 turns of the air screw!!! main jet 88 small jet 34.
Yes. 1 turn. 😲4 turns means it is very rich. Check the choke and eleimanate any carby/ engine issue prior to tuning. Go back to standard airbox and tune the carb to suit, once you are happy with this then start to open up.
@@scooterstreetau Thank you very much for your help, not all UA-camrs help us in this way and this must be appreciated! In your case, in which area of the filter box did you drill the holes? And how many? Wish size? (mm)
Your welcome @GaspersStuff 🤙 We use Pop Stuffers tinyurl.com/popstuffers as the holes for the air box, drill a 14mm hole and insert. The holes are made anywhere suitable in the entry side of the air filter so the intake of air flows through the air filter element.

Hello, i have a 70cc malossi iron kit, 21mm dellorto, mhr variator... but what exhaust shoud i choose? I was thinking yasuni c16 or maybe something else.
Very nice question! Carby👍Variator👍, upgrade the cylinder if you fit the C16 as cast iron cylinder will not produce the rpm required. You will loose the take off due to the physics of the exhaust so go for an exhaust like the Yasuni R.
