A lot of people don't understand the Shimano groupset on a Colnago, but for me it's purely down to preference. I don't like the look and feel of campy. The batter drains itself, it's less efficient. I want my bike to feel super high end as well as look it, so that's why I run dura ace. Of course there is nothing wrong with anyone preferring campy. My dad runs Super record EPS on his Bianchi Oltre and will only ever wear italian kits. Everyone has their own vibe don't they
This groupset was actually from my previous bike. So were the wheels. I had moved them over from my Ribble to make it a true top level machine on the C68 Frameset. Good spot by the way!
Can you comment on if there is enough slack in the internal cabling to remove the integrated bar and stem to fit into a hard shell bike box for travel? Thanks.
Hey there, The truthful answer is I don't actually know because i've not tried it. My bike bag is the EVOC road bike bag pro, so I never need to remove the handlebars from the bike when I travel. Sorry I cant answer any better than that :(
This is a good question. I actually had to improvise with this one because the seatpost is quite wide. I will see if I can find out for you from the guys at colnago
Hey MArko :) I'll give you 2 reasons for this. The first is that as part of this collab with Colnago UK, it is also a collab with Ceramicspeed. They distribute CS too. But also, even though I don't race, I have plans for 2023 to ride in some challenging places with some very fit athletes, who i need to take photos/videos of when riding, so every watt I can save is essential. I'm not unfit, but i'm also not a pro athlete so it's important I can still do my job as best I can with people who are way fitter than me.
You can refer to my reply on the other 50 comments like this 😂 I get it, but that's why having options is so great. Everyone can have their bike the way they love it.
Seriously, personally, that would be “the” bike if I had the money. Thank you, stunning.
I'm really glad you liked it Richard, enjoy your day!
Awesome build.
I'm glad you like it
Dude this is awesome! Your passion for biking really comes through these new videos, this included. Keep it up mate! :)
Greetings from Germany :)
Thanks so much dude! It's great to hear from you after such a long time away from UA-cam. I hope you are well!
Wow! Amazing build 🫡

You have good taste Deven!
Opera d arte 😮
Fantástico.
Wirklich ein "Dream Built"! Mega Rahmen, tolle Laufräder aber dann mit Shimano. Das tut mir in der Seele weh!

This is so awesome mate! Good job 🙌🏻
Thanks dude! I know it’s been all over already but thought it would be a shame not to upload it on my own channel too 😂
Wow 👌
Thanks for liking❤
Looks great with the 9200
Thank you! finally someone agreed with me haha
Nice bike 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Magnus!
Fuckin' beautiful!!!

Wondering why a used crankset was installed.. what a bike!!

крутой бобсель!
yes!
hi, what adaptor do i need to install di2 battery into the seatpost?

이쁘노😮
Thank you!
What about total weight?
The total Weight is 7.07kg without pedals but with cages
Danish BB!
Like pineapple on pizza or a perfect match?
It’s a beauty!
what is that white dust on the chain?
It is a teflon protection for the chain whilst it is packaged and installed. The chain is coated with it to protect the UFO drip inside the links.
During the Video i start dreaming, now i realize my dream 💯🍀🇮🇹🍷🚵🏾♀️
All good but SHIMANO>??? Missed opportunity for the ULTIMATE build with Campy wireless... Also that chain... Ridiculous LOL.
what is the weight?
Without pedals but with cages, it came in at 7.07kg
@@LukeMichaelJames Okey! Then I understand all the grease, it would be UCI illegal otherwise..
I love the cocaine chain.
It is a bike that I have fallen in love with... but it is prohibitive for the price..
It's definitely not a bike that everyone can justify buying!
Awsome if you work in the City making money from money
I guess that's why we call them 'Dream Builds'
Et le poids😢 de ce vélo
ANYONE WHO HAS THAT AMOUNT OF SPACERS HAS A BIKE THATS WRONG FOR THEM
🤣🤣🤣 it’s just what they come with as standard dude relax
Strange build. Lots of watt saving components on a frame that was not designed for racing. But still beautiful.
Those Components on a V4rs😍
@@lennartschmidt5385 Keep your eyes peeled Lennart 👀 It may happen sooner than you think

@@LukeMichaelJames good luck then, and enjoy the rides on this beauty.
Not sure why anyone would put Shimano on a Colnago!!! Sacrilegious!!
I did. On every single my Colnago from 1996!
Better than sram

@@V_-sl3wp Glad it works for you I just personally prefer Campy on mine. Italian bike -> Italian parts = my dream but know not shared by all.

Colnago bike with Shimano groupset, and no Campagnolo 🤔... 🤮🤮🤮
😉
We've got another one!
Dream build on shimano. 🤣
That’s what happens when you want a beautiful bike AND for it to shift properly 😉
