I feel blessed to own one of these gorgeous C60s. While I have several other 'nice' bikes, the Colnago is simply on another level from the others, and seeing it mated with a Campagnolo Super Record group set and BORA WTO 45's, just has me staring at endlessly it taking in it's aesthetic beauty -- a genuine work of art.
Haven’t watch the full video yet, but had to say this immediately upon my recognition...CONGRATS on the 2K+ subscribers!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Ok, now back to the vlog!!! 🤪
theDropCycling Oh Yes it is as we’re both here grinding it out, but you having this skill-set is what people love!!! Thus you building these Dream Bikes is what people desire to see. Great Job main!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@@CritWhitTV thanks for the support bro, I really enjoy building nice bikes, it's like build a lego to me. But still, even tho vlogs are not as popular it seems, they are as important cos it will be cool to watch them when I'm 80 years old😁
theDropCycling Yeah. I just love your touch of uniqueness you add - from the 🤖 to swiping the work table grabbing the saddle, to doing the same very classily snatching up the water bottle bolts. I just love it and keep it up!!! 👑
Colnago uses a system with threaded cups and press fit bearings....It was originaly made for Campagnolo crankset with "integrated" bearings (the bearings were already on the spindel when you bought the crankset), that's why their is a 25-30Nm on the BB 😉
@daAnder71 you really need to do that m8....seriously thats absolutly dumb...I'm not even English, like it's not the language I talk everyday so...one error is not that big of a deal
Hey love the channel. Was wondering if you could do a vid on explaining how to build up a luxury bike like this. Something like a step by step video. Cheers
Hey Matt, thanks for visiting the channel, each bike is different. this Colnago build is actually pretty straight forward: the only think you need to worry about is the rear frame which has internal cable routing. but it doesn't interfere bottom bracket installation, that gives you the flexibility to add parts to the bike in whichever order you like. In general, if it's a brand new bike, you want to cut the steerer before anything else, and then depends on the groupset, if it's Etap like this one, you don't need to worry about the shift gears. if it's di2, you will need to wire them first before brakes. if it's PF bottom bracket, I always leave it to last to make sure all the brakes and electric gears are installed properly. Because the worst case is pressfit into the frame and something isn't right, the you have to knock them out the frame and repeat the process. so pretty much before you build a bike, it's already in the head what you need to step by step. but like I said, this is in general, there are bikes have more complicated design which would change the order how you build that bike. Hope it helps, a little haha
Hi Nick, how much do you charge for a wheel truing? I have a Giant SLR1 disc rear wheel which keep going out of true. I am more than happy to travel to Sunshine/Footscray area once the restrictions lifted.
hey hugh, better off go to a bikeshop and get them true your wheels, it's very time consuming, I have too many pair of wheels always get the shop to do them for me :P
Great video. I love my C60 and every time I think of buying a new bike I watch this video and fall in love with my bike all over again! lol.
I am glad
That beautiful Italian frame built with SRAM? Disgustoso! Oh mio Dio. Che mi ha spezzato il cuore. I would rather see Campagnolo Potenza!

3:21 is that the 5nm tool?
On the BB it said 25-30nm, how does that matter if the bearings are press fit?
Yes it is

@@thedropcycling mi comentario es una pregunta...
Ojalá que nos enseñen el proceso igual que otras marcas que fabrican más cerca.
Hi 11 or 12 cassette?

Hey buddy really enjoying these videos. Are the bike builds for people/customers or is it your personal collection ?
Hey mate, thanks for the support! most bikes are for my personal collection, a few for mates and customers 😁
Sexy bike with perfect tracks, it was just a little sad the beautiful layup on those bars have to get covered.

Oddly satisfying
Thanks dude🙏👌👊
How much bro
3:34 half man...half machine 🤭🤣
hahahahaha
Such a bike is screaming for campagnolo
Very nice²x
One question. Why the fuck would put SRAM eCrap on a Colnago.
Call me old fashioned, but I think a Colnago should always have Campagnolo on it (I'm just saying that because I have 10 speed Record on my Tecnos!)
Most colnago these days are made in taiwan so...
@@thedropcycling Not the C60 or C64, though! The lugged frames are still made in Cambiago, Italy.
I feel violated by that eTap on a Colnago
I want
😀👍
Nice build, beautiful bike but seat is too low to look "pro"
Oh Oscar, my back will hurt if it looks "pro" 🤣
Well there it is folks. Bike Porn!!!
