This was great. I was glued to my TV screen watching this master mechanic at work. I mean, how good is this guy? To be trusted with the bike of the greatest cyclist in generations; maybe ever. He has to be the best at his craft.
It’s not exactly difficult to build a bike. I’ve never been trained yet have done it numerous times. This guy is definitely very good at it but I mean literally anyone trained could do a good job
@@chrismccannIRL agreed. I took a 40 hour bike mechanic class and could have custom built a full suspension bike right after by myself. The hardest part for me was understanding how everything worked by itself and as a system.

im not sure if that's how they work but wasn't there a no maintanence, maybe eben lube free, ceramic speed version of headset bearings, SLT or something? might be the case, but i noticed too. also that compared to other teams and videos i've seen, the measurements were taken quite old school. like no dedicated measurement tools, even for alignment of stem and front wheel.
@@fcfaby i mean, you don’t grease the seatpost… you might use some carbon mounting paste for extra friction, but if it holds without, it’s fine. and i don’t think we saw him insert the seatpost clamping wedge, there might be grease on it already, if that’s what the manufacturer suggests
@@lovemesomedetail you also grease these with carbon paste, for added friction but more importantly because carbon on carbon will mold together over time
Enve SES 4.5, hookless, tubeless only, 32mm wide, optimized for 28C, so presumably he's riding a 28C that measures 30-32mm. So even those riding 28 really aren't riding 28, but 30-32. My 32C on a 34mm wide rim measures 33.5mm.
Beautiful but I have only seen the grease in the crankset……I guess it would be the rider manias, they don,t have to be worried about the bike duration….
What does it take to be a pro mechanic like the one in this video? I have always dreamed of being one. I have worked on all brands of bikes for many yrs now.
Stuning build, just like to question, I saw no assembly paste being added in friction points, and the handlebar tape was roled in the opposite way, were this details missing or choices?
Are the additional buttons on the dropbar part of his handlebars for shifting easily while in the drops/descending? Or perhaps while climbing? Seen it on the centre part of the handlebars near the stem before but never in this spot. Left click is shift down, right click is shift up and double click is shift front mech just like with secondary sram thumb / button shifters? Thanks for the video!

Awesome video. The upside-down handlebar trick was something new.
A standout professional and a very close friend. Congrats to my boy Gabriele Campello on an awesome job!! :)
Next level, full race bike. The mechanic has done that before.
Gee, you know what you're doing when you shoot. Thanks for this.
Upside down and backwards handlebar mounting for internal routing. A technique I have never seen before!
yes, this was interesting and never seen , must try with my Colnagos ;O)
Pro mechanics have some interesting tricks for sure, what was your favourite part of the bike?
Why the brake pad swap?
@@911thisguyDA comes stock with metallic pads, so a swap to resin. Also interesting to bleed with the pads and a spacer versus the bleed blocks.
Looked like a bike built at Walmart for a second.

Ahhhh . . .NICE choice of LOW volume relaxing background music allowing us to focus our attention on where it counts: the build :-) Great stuff !
165mm Cranks. Dang. These pro mechanics have really mastered building these Disc Brake Bikes. Super clean build.
Glad you liked I! What was your favourite part?
@@GeeMilner Probably the Mechanic measuring the inward tilt on the shifters.

Hello, Tadej.
They send two? 😅
They need the payment accepted first.
Me too... 😂
So jealous of the sheer mastery of the skills for a super high end bike build.
Nothing complicated there ; especially with the tools he had
I used to love building bikes.
Building wheels too... VERY therapeutic.
That’s a beauty!!! That carbon fiber chain ring looks sick !
How many miles do you think it will fast .
extra film! I am hypnotised. Masterpiece!
Wow this was crazy therapeutic
Everyday i picture Pogacar as World champ. Looking forward to watching the next world champ's bike build.
I will never get rid of my Team Milram EPS beauty.
Yesssssssss. I’ve waited for many time to watch this superbike
I glad I bought my Colnago's when Ernesto was designing them.
A bike worthy of the next Giro and Tour winner!
Another level of professionalism,,great work❤
Amazing bike build, one day i shall learn too. Thanks for sharing.
Watching him building up the bike is a bit like meditation 🧘♀️
thank God for Gee Milner
Hope you enjoyed the film! Let me know what your favourite part was?
@@GeeMilner my favorite part are the cinematic shots at the end. the delayed gratification in them is next level ahah

What a beautiful piece of tech.
Amazing bike!
