This is my favorite hulk. I think it's the one that I could see actually carry on thru to the World War Hulk saga, compared to the neutered Ruffalo version
Here's a little fun fact for keen viewers of the movie. During the scene with Hulk and Betty in the cave, if you pause just when the lightning flashes on Hulk, he will appear with Grey skin and blue shorts. Joe Fixit (Grey Hulk) has always been my favorite version of the hulk and it's nice to see him get a little if even barely noticeable reference
*The only other "requel" I can think of is Punisher: War Zone (2008)* _A requel to The Punisher (2004)_ I'm glad a short film sequel was made for the '04 movie with Thomas Jane, called Dirty Laundry
I wouldn’t consider Punisher: War Zone a requel. It’s just a different adaptation. Some examples of requels include Mission: Impossible (1996), Shaft (2000), Charlie’s Angels (both the 2000 one and the recent one), the 21 Jump Street movie, the Tom Cruise version of The Mummy (kinda), and the new Quantum Leap show.
I actually quite liked Abomination's design in this movie over his other appearances. It's so just so monstrous which is perfect. The new Abomination looks so baby-faced (for lack of a better phrase) and disarming. Such beautiful and gentle eyes. Had they just taken this look, made him a bit more green, and slapped those funky ears on him, I'd be okay with it.
This is still my favorite looking hulk. There's something about the texture of his skin and vibrant green that always felt real. I've grown accustomed to Ruffalo hulk, but it still reminds me how cgi it is. Nostalgia? Maybe. Regardless I still love this design
7:14 Bruce: " I almost killed the woman I love. I can no longer live with myself. I refuse to allow this monster inside of me to continue living!!" 7:15 Hulk: "Yea lemme stop ya right there. See, what we Not Gon' Do is..."
They changed the title of the movie because Edward Norton insisted on putting in a plotline where Bruce Banner discovers Q-anon. Norton believed they could keep the title, but Marvel would only keep the plotline if the title was changed, Norton very humbly compromised to keep the plotline. The plotline was cut right before the premiere because Q-anon didn't exist yet.
I quite like this film. I like the Hulk design and actor wise better later on, but the content of this movie I enjoy and I’m quite glad so much of it is coming back. Can’t wait for Marvel Studios to get the rights back soon so they can make some more proper Hulk films.
Fun fact: The Hulk in comics was originally supposed to be blue and work on a farm which is why the working script given to Jack Kirby by Stan Lee was Blue Harvest.
Personally, I think Edward Norton was a far superior Bruce Banner. He actually captures being a scientist, while Ruffalo captures being a shy nerd. I think Ruffalo did a fine job but I think Norton would have gone further and deeper into the struggle that is Bruce Banner. Also minigun minigun minigun...
I'd love to see a Caravan of Garbage for: 1. Indiana Jones franchise 2. Pirates of the Caribbean frinchise 3. Batman Mask of the Phantasm 4. Ghost Rider 1 and 2 5. Hellboy 1, 2 and reboot
I like how the morphed face of Liv Tyler and That Lady result is just another beautiful brunette with blue eyes. There's no way that it could be anything different.
I always had a real fondness for this movie because 1. I love Edward Norton, and 2. The beautiful Brazilian woman who Bruce saves from some thugs in the first act of the movie is named Martina, which is my name, and I rarely saw any characters with my name in American films when I was growing up.
I've always loved this film and how it felt like a Bourne film with a gamma powered protagonist. On top of that, the film was heavily inspired by Bruce Jones' fantastic Incredible Hulk run.

Bro, what?! Lmao, I’m not even talking about in the comments for this video lol. I’m talking about just how much hate this movie has gotten in general from other people. And if you haven’t seen or heard how much hate this movie has gotten you have to be blind, deaf or a combination of the two lol. Man, if I was talking about the hate in these comments of this video I would’ve said specifically “idk why this movie gets so much hate in the comments of this video”.
I’m just here for James repeated recognition of “blue harvest” as the original Star Wars title. As a result, I literally walk around waiting for other people to randomly assert this piece of trivia to my face everyday.
Honestly this is the best Hulk we've had in movies.
My headcannon for hulks hair is that just like the rest of banner’s body, it grows, so when he turns into hulk, it gives an explanation for why his hair is all messy and shaggy
I love when Maso has the same jokes that I do: Letterier is derriere! 🤣🤣🤣
Tim Blake Nelson will always be one of The Soggy Bottom Boys to me
fun fact, everyone here in brazil makes fun of how they spoke brazilian portuguese in this movie. we can clearly see that almost everyone isn't brazilian
Não me deixe com fome
Watching the Eurovision movie was excruciating. I’m 90% certain Piers Brosnan hadn’t even heard a word of Icelandic before he tried to speak it 😂
Still has one of the best lines in comicbook movie history:
"You're gonna have a lot of professional tough-guys pissing in their pants, Sir".
No its ASSHOLE! YOU KNOW I KNOW OF A COUPLE OF TECH.... YOU ZIP IT!
Hope there's more obscure Aussie references in this vid for me to look up. Love that stuff lol.
Editors, the “sound of a minigun” is EXTREMELY good. Paused to immediately rewatch, y’all do GREAT work on these!!!!
The working title for this video was actually Blue Harvest. Which is funny because that was the working title for the first Star Wars film.
Hmmm
This is my favorite hulk. I think it's the one that I could see actually carry on thru to the World War Hulk saga, compared to the neutered Ruffalo version
That “mini-gun minute” intro must remain 🤣🤣🤣
I loved the callbacks to the 70s series. When I first saw the trailer I was so excited
never clicked on something so fast in my life, was drooling in antecipation here, boys
I’m loving Mason’s Mini gun minute background music/theme.
This film was great! Loved Norton in the role, and his chemistry with Tyler.
Take 10 of me informing James that Blue Harvest was the working title for Return of the Jedi, not the original Star Wars.
Im glad that they named the trivia section after the hulk
The HULK SMASH still feels good. It sounds angry and just its awesome
“No, you went on a murder spree” had me dying.
*The only other "requel" I can think of is Punisher: War Zone (2008)*
_A requel to The Punisher (2004)_
I'm glad a short film sequel was made for the '04 movie with Thomas Jane, called Dirty Laundry

Yeah but I was talking about Marvel movies
I actually quite liked Abomination's design in this movie over his other appearances. It's so just so monstrous which is perfect. The new Abomination looks so baby-faced (for lack of a better phrase) and disarming. Such beautiful and gentle eyes. Had they just taken this look, made him a bit more green, and slapped those funky ears on him, I'd be okay with it.
The Credible Hulk is the hero we both deserve and need right now.
This is still my favorite looking hulk. There's something about the texture of his skin and vibrant green that always felt real. I've grown accustomed to Ruffalo hulk, but it still reminds me how cgi it is. Nostalgia? Maybe. Regardless I still love this design
PLEASE CAN WE HAVE A MINIGUN MINUTE SONG THAT LITTLE SNIPPET HAD ME HOWLING
I really like this movie. Best Hulk we’ve ever gotten on screen.
7:14 Bruce: " I almost killed the woman I love. I can no longer live with myself. I refuse to allow this monster inside of me to continue living!!"
7:15 Hulk: "Yea lemme stop ya right there. See, what we Not Gon' Do is..."
This movie low key kind of slaps
Minigun minute just became the most hyped section of the video for me
Fun fact: The Hulk in comics was originally supposed to be blue and work on a farm which is why the working script given to Jack Kirby by Stan Lee was Blue Harvest.
That Credible Hulk picture was posted on the wall in my middle school library. Thank you for bringing back those memories.
Surprised at the amount of love this is getting now. At least the first one tried different stuff.
I'd love to see a Caravan of Garbage for:
1. Indiana Jones franchise
2. Pirates of the Caribbean frinchise
3. Batman Mask of the Phantasm
4. Ghost Rider 1 and 2
5. Hellboy 1, 2 and reboot
they have done some of those
This might be the funniest Caravan of Garbage to date.
I need the rest of that Minigun tune, it slaps.
I like how the morphed face of Liv Tyler and That Lady result is just another beautiful brunette with blue eyes. There's no way that it could be anything different.
I always had a real fondness for this movie because
1. I love Edward Norton, and
2. The beautiful Brazilian woman who Bruce saves from some thugs in the first act of the movie is named Martina, which is my name, and I rarely saw any characters with my name in American films when I was growing up.
The running Blue Harvest joke will never get old. I laugh every time
I've always loved this film and how it felt like a Bourne film with a gamma powered protagonist. On top of that, the film was heavily inspired by Bruce Jones' fantastic Incredible Hulk run.
I always thought of it as a modern adaptation of the 70s show
I like it think Banner/Hulk in the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes series is a spiritual continuation of Norton’s Hulk
