Lumpy the EVO 9 came in to POWERTUNE AUSTRALIA for a new engine and Sequential setup. Watch Abdula build the engine and we get it all setup for a Run in tune. Part 2 will be coming later were we turn the wick up and really see how this new Gearbox handles the power.

That's so stupid to remove them.
@@DriftSquid many so called "engine builders" remove them coz they say forged pistons don't need oil for cooling... 🤦
personally i think squirters help to send oil not only for cooling but also help the pistons to expand and contract more consistently.... Approximately 80% all of the excess heat created during combustion is absorbed by the piston. Almost all this heat is transferred through the piston rings. By allowing oil to flow near the crown it substantially lowers the temp.
Besides the oil squirters there is nothing to cool down the pistons directly and pistons are one of the hottest parts in the Engine touching the combustion gasses DIRECTLY.

I didn’t see him lube anything during assembly. But figured he must have.
Yeah he sure did but I didn't film it as everyone has different opinions on what lube you should use. We wont show what we use in house.

My piston were same and bores my engine build old school guy he said this happens when engine over heats cause block to expand in some case and some engines

Can you tell us how this compares to x shift, Quaife, or samsonas?
I myself cant but this gearbox is on par with the X shift. Although people have told me the X shift feels smoother and easier.

Does Abdul use assembly lube? 🫳🏼 during the build only because I’ve seen others doing it.
Yeah mate but I didn't show what he uses and people have opinions on what's best and what isn't. So best everyone does their own thing when it comes to building engines ya know.
