We have a slightly different video today, This is my first ever review using the MyUS.com shipping company which allows us to get items from Bath and Body Works & Walmart in the US all the way to us in the UK (plus many more US sites however this is all I used)
This is not a paid promotion in any way, this is my first time using MyUS.com and I thought I would share my experience with you all.

I'm in the UK, and tend to buy stuff from the USA fairly often, usually via eBay, but those arbitrary import fees eBay slaps on for their GSP can really sting, especially since they sometimes apply them on listings that should be below the threshold where customs applies! I've seen this company show up in my searches for parcel forwarding services, so I'm glad this video was here to show how it works in a bit more detail! Thanks for the info :)

This isn't too cheap but I think it depends on your costs in the first place but it is cheaper than adding all the additional ebay charges. My most recent order was pretty cheap as it was below £135 included shipping so I never paid additional fed ex custom charges 👍

It all depends on the total value of the goods, their total weight, and your country of residence if you can import goods below a certain value without attracting customs charges. You have to do the math prior to placing your orders on US websites to find out if it’s worth it or not.
Very honestly, the experience with this fright forwarding company has been the worst among all the companies I have used. After watching several video reviews, I thought it was very reliable company. Big mistake. I ended up paying way more than I normally do ($400 shipping. Usually it costs me 1/3 of that.), and the customer service does not care much. They labeled my boxes as "instruments", while they were books, and now I'm asked to pay 450 USD at the custom for something that I'm not even supposed to pay. Where we live, we don't pay the importation taxes for the books. Now, thanks to that wrong labeling, the custom tells me the only way for me to get the boxes is by paying an amount that exceeds the books themselves. No reply from MYUS customer service after reaching out to discuss the matter. Their mistake, but supposedly it was mine. Never again.

Those shipping cost + taxes sound pretty insane to me. I'm pretty sure there are plenty good alternatives available in the UK or Europe, like for example The Bodyshop.

Australia has a bath and bodyworks now, due two xmas 2022 it had a buy one get one free. p.s buying stuff overseas isnt the issue its the fact america charges postage fees that cost MORE then the product itself, how does this sevice make it any better?
If you buy during amazon prime postage is free even buying overseas

I have ordered a couple of items from the US (may add more) to be shipped to the Eu (not post-Brexit UK). Some of the items are heavy.
I'm trying to figure out whether I should have multiple shippings so as to (hopefully) avoid customs at least on some of the items or just have everything shipped together (even the total should be within their weight limit, so as far as I understand, no difference in shipping costs) and pay customs on the whole amount.
The European Commission's website does mention that customs and VAT are due on the total value (including shipping), in which case i wouldn't be within the 150 EUR limit, since shipping alone will be around 120 EUR (heavy items...).
So I think the answer to my own question is that I should have everything shipped together, but I would like to hear if anybody here has hands-on experience.

You're welcome. Thank you for watching. I know exactly what you mean with the shipping/custom brackets. I've thought the same thing! I've had a couple shipments since without any customs charges and it was great as my original custom charge was around the same price as shipping but it was a tricky one to work out! You are correct it takes in the shipping cost too! I think it'll be trial and error with heavy weighted items. Good luck 👍

Hey, I have a question, how long does it take from myus receiving your package until it showed up in your suite?
Hey, it took a couple of days from confirmed delivery from the sender to seeing it in my suite. They do update you when they have recieved the package, just takes them a little while to get all the details to your suite 👍

No body is explaining this well enough. I have watch 5 different videos on this and everyone says something differently. So when you are ordering from Amazon and bath and body works who are you paying for the items you want. Are you paying Amazon and Bath and Body Works directly and then having it sent to your MyUS address? Or are you paying for the items you want and shipping costs to you directly to MyUS account? The second option is the one that everyone says happens. But to me that makes no sense.
I think this is the way it works. You make you purchases from whatever store or site, you pay them directly for your order and then have them send it to your MyUS address. So the only thing you are paying MyUS for is the shipping cost. And once you pay MyUS for the shipping costs they will send it to you. Is this correct.

Sorry I'm not much help. They have opened my parcels from B&BW and walmart but only to repackage into a single box for shipment. They haven't opened my actual packaging of products from stores but again I haven't ordered anything of high value/collectable piece.

I have tried signing up for the single package, but they do ask me to put my credit card info or paypal. They charge like $1. Is it normal or should I be wary?
Hi, I think most companies do that to check that authentication of your card. The $1 transaction is normally refunded straight away. I haven't had any issues however if you are worried maybe send them an email to check.

I'm thinking of using this service, what are the price differences between USA and UK? For example, Bath & Beyond is on Amazon UK, what are the price differences between Amazon and Bath & Beyond USA? Do the prices on Amazon include shipping?
Did you shop through myUS itself or the individual BBW website with your own separate BBW account then uploaded the incoming packages info to myUS?? I hope that made sense 😅
Makes total sense. 👍😂 Yeah I shopped individually on BBW and then just uploaded the invoice PDF onto the incoming packages status on MyUS. I think you can use the myUS purchase bit itself but I dont know enough it there to say how it works.

I have a question though, how many times did you pay for shipping? Did you have to pay shipping from Supplier (in your case BBW) > Suite address > to your home address? Im in Australia and am looking for a cheaper shipping method because the fees for shipping direct from the supplier are costing more than the items alone
Hey, you're welcome. 🤗 thank you for your kind words.
The shipping is based on weight and size so will vary in your item regardless of the price. I paid a standard shipping fee on BBW to get it to the suite and then the Myus shipping fee from the US to the UK. I'm my case the shipping has exceeded the product cost, especially on my first shipment (the one in the video) as I went above the UK limit for customs chargers so I had another fee to pay in the UK. Since then I've kept my goods and delivery charges below the UK freehold and haven't had the additional customs fee on top. The Myus deliver estimate is pretty close to cost is you know the package size and weight of your delivery. (That excludes any additional insurance fees/cover you may wish to add)

Please answer this question for me, How many days did it take for package show up in your suite after delivery shown in tracking? Because mine It’s around 2-3 days for me since FedEx tracking said delivered but still doesn’t show up in my suite. I checked with support and they are asking me to wait for them to process (login) the item. Please could you tell me your experience?
Hi, I think this varies alot. My very first package took a while, this may have been because it was around the holiday season but my most recent packages have been slightly quicker around 2 days. Unfortunately I don't think there is a specific time frame. It'll just depend on how busy they are at the time. They will update the app for you as soon as its available. 👍
If you like coffeemate, try the international delight brand.
Love the international delight. It's not available in the UK I don't think. 😔 I cannot wait to return to the US 🙌
@@thehennesseyfamily2 I am from the US but live in Asia and miss the International Delight coffee creamer. It's made by Danone, a french company, surprised you can't get it in the UK either. We can get the Coffemate french vanilla here in asia but it's really pricey, $12 for the 1/2 liter bottle. The plain version (powder), is much cheaper and can get everywhere here. Cheers!
Yeah it's so expensive here for the coffee mate flavours. The plain creamer is standard here and inexpensive however I have the order The flavours from the US or pay a much higher price online for a small container. I try and make them last when I do. Hopefully you'll be able to stock up soon if you're able to visit your home town soon 🤞

Hi, that was total price for dangerous goods not per item however please check their site as prices may have changed since. I think you are safe with the body wash/lotions, maybe candles (but check the glass) maybe contact myUS and see what items they class as dangerous goods 🙂

Hi, I placed the B&BW order around the end of Novemebr but I delayed the despatch from MyUS due to waiting on another shipment from Walmart so it could have been quicker :)

I understand. I was a little skeptical to start with. I've only used B&BW and walmart through them. I've had 3 separate orders with them and had no issues but there is always a risk. If you're in the UK, I've heard Next are starting to sell B&BW items?! I haven't seen them myself yet.

Yeah start with a small order to start if you are worried. I think the £135 is including shipping too I'd suggest like a $50 to $60order total or less and then shipping and see how you go. Can get a pretty decent amount for $60 in the B&BW sale 🤩

Hey, I'm sorry I'm not too sure. I think the customs charge is based on item amount.... For the UK I think it is anything above £135 including shipping and taxes has a customs charge. (Please research this though as I am not too sure)
In terms of shipping costs from myus they have a calculator on thier site if you know the weight and dimensions of your package which will give you a rough estimate

hello, i just want to ask, should i upload my screenshot of "incoming package" from bbw? because i already tried it many time and keep received email like this "We received your incoming order details, but were not able to process the information. Please ensure that all the details outlined below are included." should just wait for the package arrive at warehouse or just try again to upload the details?
I normally upload a screenshot but I think it has to include the prices and quantity etc. It isn't an issue if you just leave it, they will add it all to the the system when it arrives. 🙂

Hey, I think it's the fee per parcel based on % amount and/or minimum value but please double check with them as I'm not 100% sure. There's a F&Q site on thier page, have a look under restricted merchandise

Value of the goods
postage, packaging and insurance
any duty you owe
This was pre Brexit as well so I'm not sure what/if any charges have changed but I would do your research first. I've only ordered once and that was my experience. Your order may differ depending on items and amount

That's right, but that's only for my good. My goods total was around $93 and then shipping, added insurance and dangerous good charges was an additional $97, so in total around $190 (excluding the customs/VAT charge) Mine was shipped with FedEx so charges may differ slightly depending on what shipping company is used. Sorry I can't provide more information. Maybe email MyUS or the shipping company, they may be able to explain in more detail of the import/VAT charges.
@@thehennesseyfamily2 I think they have scammed you in the custom declaration. What counts is the value of the items. If the value if the items is under £135 (just the items, no postage no extra charges no fees) you don't have to pay VAT. If the value of the items only is over £135 then all the VAT and/or custom taxes will add up to the total product cost and shipping.
I'm not too sure. I've placed another bath and body works order only which is cheaper. I will see what they do this time around. 🤞

@@SneakersDanceLife about 2 weeks, adidas ship it to the warehouse in Germany from there you ship it to your address. Gald I could help I was struggling when I first tried it
The service is BS they refuse to cancal my ship request when they aint ship or charge my card yet but there no options to cancel if you make a mistake i have another package i just notices and there just wrong bad sevice shipping is beyond HIGH but its the customer services

In all honestly I am not 100% sure but I think they do the charges based on UK pounds after the exchange rate not dollars. The gov website may have more details on there

Yeah we do have to pay tax/custom fees but it varies on item/package values. It might explain more on the GOV website 🤞

Hi, I wonder could you advise me? I’ve registered with them they’ve allocated me US address to be dispatched from and underneath where that’s is indicated there’s a UK address indicated that’s not my home address - I went into settings and my home address is indicated so what is the Preston address indicated?? Is that a UK delivery centre they use or something?

Hi, I think it's a new feature with shipping from the UK to the US. I've only used the US address and from there they will dispatch to your registered home address. Hope this helps.

It’s just that I went and bought my stuff before registering so wonder if you’re supposed to do it the other way around. I’ve had confirmation from the shop that I bought item from that it’s been delivered to MyUS but nothing showing when I log in to my suite?

No not a silly question. I normally put a screenshot on there of what I've ordered but I don't think it's a necessity! They'll know it's your order and will upload it on the system when it arrives as the shipping address is unique to you. It may take a day or two to show once delivered 👍🏻

Can you use a UK debit card on say shopping channel HSN…?
I dont know I'm afraid but me personally I would be careful using a debit card. I would mainly use a credit card if purchasing abroad

Btw things that are advertised as flushable are pretty much never actually flushable and will ruin your plumbing. Try them out in water before putting them in your toilet. Same thing for biodegradable plastic bags. They just don't decompose and just ruin the other composting material.

Hey, there is a section on their website that allows you to view estimated cost based on the weight and dimensions of your package. They also fill out the customs paperwork for you. 👍

You're welcome. I hadn't used them before but it was really simple. They will let you know when it's in your suite and you can choose which delivery option you would like. They will then process it all for delivery. Takes them a day or 2 to dispatch the goods but that could be based on your delivery option. (I only went for economy) good luck 😊 hope it arrives safely. All the charges are on their site. It'll depend on your items, if you have hazardous items etc it will increase the delivery charge.

They go by package size as well as weight so it will depend on how they can package the coats... they're pretty good with packaging 📦 they do have a shipping estimate on thier site which was close for my items. May give you an idea. I would also see what the rules/customs charges are for OZ as they may differ from the UK as customs may add an additional charge on once arrived. I think for the UK it's £135 inc shipping and goods etc...

Application? Do you mean your delivery? If so, once your goods are delivered to them it took them a day or 2 to process it for mine. Then you'll be able to put in your delivery request again which takes a day or 2. 👍

I think mine was within an hour but I think some peoples have taken longer.

I'm not sure you may have to ask them. I'm sure you can get anything delivered from the US to the suite within reason. And the free shipping will be from the advertised shop in America to your myus suite. It won't be free from myus to your delivery location. 👍

Typically you wouldn't use a capital letter at the end of a word (delayS) but you'll learn that for next time 👌
