To UAE 🇦🇪- approximate cost of small packages ( 1 kg) shows 100$ by normal post and 200$ with DHL. Do you guys find it affordable?😅

How long do packages usually take to arrive at your location?? Will I be able to track the package while it’s transit? I want to make my first order but I’m weary of being scammed, the package going missing or getting lost or things along those lines.
Hey, my packages usually take 7-10 days to get to me in South Africa. This is because of the courier I use. DHL is really fast & usually takes less than 1 week - but it is more expensive. Tracking is dependant on the shipping service you use. When you are selecting the courier, you can select one with tracking available.
thanks for uploading this. too few south africans know about this and end up losing out on items or overpaying for them locally. sent my first parcel to myus today and will give shipito a try next time to compare. have you used myus? a comparison video between myus and shipito would be pretty cool
Please repost on how myus goes. Tried to make an account and it just won't go through. Soo desperate to ship something for Uni. The reviews on my us are awful though hey. Ill really be happy to hear how it goes for you because they are cheaper when calculating shipment.
@@naturallybecca4360 got my myus order the other day. went perfeclty well. was happy with the delivery time and they even repacked my stuff from different sources to save me money on shipping. i know there are bad reviews but you will find bad reviews for any forwarder.

Like if I have a lot of products in my shopping cart dose it all considered a one package, or one thing is one package?
If you order 10 things from Sephora at the same time, then it will likely be 1 package. However, do keep in mind that some of these companies have multiple warehouses so they ship certain products from different locations. This has happened to me before with Sephora. I ordered at the same time & only paid 1 shipping fee, but 2 seperate packages arrived.

Do I put the Post Office address or my home address? The shipping is for Suriname and I've been told that when ordering things from online that they don't deliver home. What should I do?
HI Kailua, I’m very confused, & not really understanding what you are asking. If you are shopping from shop X in USA, & you need to send it to the SHIPITO warehouse, then you need to use your unique SHIPITO address. From the SHIPITO warehouse you can then decide where you want to ship the package to in your home country. Hope that helps!

Yonga Yako hey there, so I always mark my parcels as personal. I normally ship product value R500-R1000 so maybe that why I don’t pay customs for the most part. I don’t really see the benefit in the invoice being removed. I have never had a parcel opened/inspected by customs before. Hope that helps.

how can i use this for elf cosmetics us?. i want to get their products but i cant get them ship to my country it wont accept/allow me to put in my address so how can i place an order with them using this?
Hey, follow the steps listed in the video & you should have no problem. If ELF doesn’t want to accept your credit card (from your country) then try make payment via PayPal. Otherwise everything is as per the video.

thanks. ive tried paypal still wants a U.S address. elf just needs a U.S phone number which they require in order to proceed so they can arrange delivery times the shipping service didnt provide one. have contacted them about it. just waiting on a reply
have you ever ordered furniture items like carpets or tables, do they do larger items like that? because Anthropologie does not ship furniture to Canada only the us and I'm scared to loose like $900

From your experience which was cheaper - aramenx global shopper or shipitto? Also if you bought items at a discounted price would you then declare the discount price (i.e the actual amount you paid) or the retail price and what would the reasons be for why you want to remove an invoice? These are a lot of questions lol but I hope you can answer them all. Thanks
Hi there, so in my experience i have found Aramex Global Shopper more expensive. And customs duties are always paid in advance. With SHIPITO, my parcels sometimes come through without being stopped by customs. It’s a 50/50 really.
With regard to invoiced being removed, I haven’t used this option. I was merely sharing the different services offered by SHIPITO. I usually add bubble wrap on makeup, or a fragile sticker, & I always take extra photos of my parcels. Those are some of the services you can use.
When I purchase sale items, I declare the price I paid.

Hey! Awesome. Last package i received was about 2 weeks back. I have noticed that shipping is a little higher, & the options with which courier to use are less. I have found that Aramex has been very slow. So, if i want something quicker, I use DHL. However, customs fees has been more or less the same %

@@jasminerichards4159 Definitely Aramex. They’re generally a fraction of the cost compared to DHL. And it will take around 2 weeks to get to you. Just don’t opt for airmail because that goes to the post office, & it will take FOREVER to get to you.

Hi Brett signed up and decided to use Aramex but I've hit a snag and I'm wondering if you can help. It says I need to fix my address cos the format I put in is incorrect and my carrier can't locate it 🤦🏽♀️
Oh no! I’m really not sure how to help with that. I think your best bet is to get hold of the carrier & give them the updated address.

I signed up for the $60/yr plan I want to change my package to $10/m plan I reached out to their support center and am yet to receive a reply, now my question is how do I switch from the $60 plan to the $10 plan.

Hi! Yes, I have used the postal service because it was the cheapest option. However, it was very very slow. Mostly because it was delayed by our postal services. If you are not rushing, & can wait, then do it. I never had a parcel get lost. They just take long.

Yes they do actually. If you haven't logged into your account for 2 years it gets closed.
I know it depends on the height width, weight and that stuff but 100$ for shipping? Thats way too much, I order a headset and a keyboard from amazon but am i really gonna have to pay $100 for these just 2 items???
As I said in the video, you need to decide if what you are buying is worth the price tag incl shipping & other fees. Not everything will be over $100. I’ve had many parcels under $50 because they were smaller.

If the store won't let me checkout without a tel number, I use any US number I can find online. I'll be honest, I have even used the number of a Macy's store. lol

The value of my goods was R1700 but I have to pay over R2000 to Aramex, this does not seem correct?
Same. My order was R815 for a small parcel. I realised aramex uses the volume weight not the actual weight of the parcel so that ups the price soo much. Its crazy but Aramex wants R700 for a tiny parcel. Noo ways. I wish i just bought a cheapee version of my item in RSA.

Have you tried Paypal? Because that's always the easiest option.
they hold your parcel for 90 days if I'm not mistaken. Please get on the live chat with them, & let them know, & they can assist. That's what I always do.

They don’t give you a name to use, only the address. You must use your name still.
So all I have to do is put in the “fake” address? How does it actually get to my own address in America
You create your shipito account & get assigned an address.
Then you use the address when shopping online.
The package will be delivered to shipito via that address.
Once the package is received, you will be alerted to it being in their warehouse.
Once it has been processed, you can then ship it to your home address, wherever that may be.
You can choose from various shipping vendors, & pricing.
Once sent you will receive tracking info that you can monitor the shipment with.

I was not paid for this review. If you look at my content, I give tips on shopping from brands I love. And share my experiences. Part of my experience is how I shop brands that don’t actually ship to my country, & Shipito is the service I’ve used for over 100 parcels.
I do get a small commission for people you have signed up & completed shipping via the Shipito service. I mention this in my video.
I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience, but honestly my experience has been great. And if you look at the comments, lots of other people have had a great experience too. I obviously cannot speak on anyone else’s experience except my own.

It’s 1 processing fee per parcel. If Amazon ships everything separate (which has happened to me) then you will pay for each package in the warehouse. Not each item.
Hi why don't you buy from book depository instead? They have worldwide free shipping and their services are way better than Amazon
If only book depository used better packaging, I get more damaged books from them..

I am 80% sure Paypal lets you load a debit card on there. Maybe check the paypal site to confirm.
Hi Brett, thank you for the informative video. I understand you said that this is a service for stores that do not ship to your respective country mine being SA as well. For example, if I were to buy from ABH, the international shipping fee is $20. Would it be more affordable to use Shipito or would it be better to ship it straight to SA? Thank you
Chulumanco Giyose hey, so I think if there is a shipping option to come to SA then in my experience it’s going to be cheaper. I did a test with a fashionnova order & it was better shipped straight to SA.

Hey! So, I’m in SA, so I first try my +27 number. If that doesn’t work, I usually put in any random number. Not sure if you want to chance it, but I haven’t had an issue with using a random number.

But you pay in your currency and not with dollars right?
I pay the dollar amount with my credit card, & it converts to my currency. But it is dependent on the exchange rate.

@@lepopotwanem2113 Yay Im so glad you find it helpful. So, you pay Shipito for their services & Aramex for the shipping. If you are only shipping 1 parcel, you can just pay 1 fee at the end when you are shipping the parcel / selecting your shipping method. If you are consolidating more than 1 parcel, you will pay the consolidation fee upfront before they do the consolidation. Then after they do the consolidation you pay teh shipping fee.
I hate aramex. I would pay extra just to not have aramex put their fingers on my parcel.
They a scam these people. think the fact that their app mobile doesn’t even log in should have been a huge sign that this company has poor service. Two packages lost 4 days apart. Can’t call anyone can talk to anyone. Logged tickets and all they say is we working on it. I have used Aramex global shopper for years and not once have they lost anything. First time I switch to Shipito and two packages lost… and they don’t care
I'm so sorry you've had a bad experience with them. It's unlike my experiences which have all been good. This year alone I've had 4 parcels go via them. And a total of 67 since I've been using the service.
