are you aware that Fox 3's are not IR missles right? u have to guide that to enemy's if missle regains radar by it self its ok but if it does not u wasted a missle.
i was testing the missile's self tracking capabilities and as far as i know they are not coded right at the moment because they lose lock to a side aspect notch which they should of still had in real life or in dcs even
Obviously the missiles arent finished yet, and they are bleeding more speed than they should be atm. But again, war thunder players move much more than DCS players which is why u cant really use fox3s like u can in DCS, in Sim battles however they may be more effective
not sure if thats true, i played alot of dcs and if you are going head on with someone you shoot them and defend instantly, so the enemy missile doesnt reach you
@@skatemaster33they will continue until they reach the last known intercept point sent to them by the data link. If the enemy hasn’t maneuvered, they will still be inside the missiles radar cone, otherwise if they do maneuver, they won’t be inside the radar cone of the missile and the missile won’t see them. Hence why you want to keep a lock until the missile goes active, so it can receive mid course corrections
finally got aim120s ive been begging for them, especially since they nerfed the aim7
They’re not like aim54s at the moment, you don’t TWS and lob 5 AMRAAMS off and get 1 kill.

How many gs does r77 pull?
The R-27ER is fast the all Foc-3 missile.

You keep them locked till the missile is inside 16km or it’s basically a paperweight.

The missiles are not finished and currently have a 16km radar
@@ItzCPU_ But they should have inertial navigation, they will continue to fly and find something
@@skatemaster33 yes but a lower chance of hitting
