RAAAAAH 🦅 Gimme my AMRAAM. War Thunder Dev Server is currently open! And Gaijin's currently testing ARH missiles (AMRAAM, MICA, R-77) for their future implementation soon™. Hopefully June. New FOX-3s will definitely shake up the meta at Top Tier.

See now this would have brought me back to the game, but they had to go ahead and add Top Tier Premiums and make the F-20 75$. That reminded me what the game was all about and I'm just not interested anymore. I'll stick to DCS where 70$ actually gets me an aircraft that's worth it. Why would I pay 75$ for a Premium when I already finished the U.S air tree? They don't consider that shit.

tbh i tested all of them and mica seem to stand out with 50g thrust vector and strong booster not long-range boy but close range demon

they're actually really good, you just need to fly low and hunt the people flying high

Important thing to remember: once the missile is within 16km, keeping your radar locked on the target does absolutely nothing

The fox3’s aren’t busted, they perform like normal fox1’s BUT the MICA is pretty good.

The fact that Mica is formidable at close range I don't care it's logical, it has vectored thrust and 50g, but it's a fox 3 missile and we would like to be able to go up high and fire it from as far as the others to avoid having to defend before shooting!! All this because Gaijin still nerfs the range of French missiles. The 530D was already the same shit... Irl it has the same range as the 120a and even more.
