Good Ol' Aoeilaeiepae. Making someone from 2015 who used to only play arcade, then played only realistic, then went back to arcade, then realistic, now back to actually playing TTAA for fun.
That "some sort of magical black-ops bullshit UFO technology that let's them turn instantly with perfect energy retention" actually has a name: Ace Combat Logic. Missed oportunity for a joke there lol. Also, not sure if you done it already, but I would like to see your take on flat maps with zero, or near-to-zero terrain features like Sinai or Wake Island. That would be interesting to watch. ¡Congrats on your channel blowing up!
Of course they always misspell your name ... it's a random string of 10 vowels with 2 random consonants thrown in the middle . If you added a couple of additional numbers or random symbols in it would look like the output of a random password generator 🤷 Love the videos 👍
being offensive/able to do a lead turn doesn't mean you are "out-turning" your opponent. and "rate fight" doesn't mean "turn fight", though it is a form of turn fight. a "rate fight" is defined by making time around the circle, essentially trying to maintain a higher turn rate than your opponent (usually two-circle). that is as opposed to radius fight, which emphasizes turning tighter than your opponent (usually one-circle).
If you really want to get the kill from behind, but you keep cutting the turn and therefore outrunning your opponent, you might want to drop speed. Then, you don't get so much closer to your opponent each time you cut their turn and can afford to cut their turn more times and have more chances to shoot them. Make sure you don't go too slow though, or else your turn rate might suffer, you might get killed by someone else, or they might just stop turning and fly away
holy moly man really taking 10 minutes to explain that starting on somebody's 6 and pulling lead for a shot gives you a shot, the yapping is approaching critical levels
For three number on your plant have you considered calculator notation? "1E+4" would be 10,000 It's an abbreviation of 1*(10^4), which is scientific notation, but it's written with an E so calculator answers can be neater Though to be honest he doesn't need to hear this, he's a highly trained professional
8:25 funny thing is, I figured the exact same thing in grade 1 primary while playing tag, always figured that turning gives the person chasing you less distance to run
Sorry for a pointless nitpick, but that's a pretty reductive way to describe a rate fight in the sense that a plane with better turning potential isn't necessarily at an advantage, because its lower wing loading leads to greater induced drag. Its technically correct enough as long as offset circles and such are ignored, which is fine for beginners, but its probably better described as a fight where you aim to maximise the diameter of the turn circle while also maximising degrees per second around a circle. (since a smaller diameter circle means smaller arcs on the circle) Anyway it doesn't really matter, I guess there's extra context if someone cared about that, but not enough to just read about it themselves.
But Aiolieyeepay, just abbreviate the subscriber count as "11k" 11 on one wing and K on the other... If you can use letter decals that is. I don't play this game because I only enjoy suffering when it's happening to other people as I watch.
@eiepaeBut Ravioliayeipea, they're just saying they're really okay??? :D Edit; Just looked through the decal catalogue and all I can figure is maybe use one of the chevron decals to bootleg a "K" using it and a straight line decal, maybe a number 1?
To summarize the video, he just talked about using the one circle to your advantage, since it relies on having a lower speed mostly, while having better AOA capabilities helps, but isn’t as important as the first part, but also this still relies on the plane still having at least a modicum of maneuverability, basically if you want to know more about this, go watch dcs dogfight tutorials
you could use the left side of the jet for the largest numbers, and the right side for the decimal. E.G.: 30.8k would be 30 on the left 8 on the right E.G. 2: 1.23M would be 1 on the left and 23 on the right
ive been playing war thunder for well over half a decade and just picked up on these things but seeing someone actually describe how it all works just makes it even easier to explain to some of my newer friends
For the decal situation, Just make a custom skin. Downside I don't think enemy/team would be able to see it.. But it'd be visible for you and the video.. But you'd also get to slap on channel logo/name, whatever else you wanted.
For more than 4 digits probably just use 3 slots and do the top 2 numbers with k like (14k) as an example. The theory is the number will only get bigger anyway. This way even if it peaks over (100k) it eventually becomes (1m) and perhaps then use all 4 decals again to do (1.1m) and onwards. Good luck with that though you wonderful thing you
With your subscriber count currently at about 16000, you could put "16k" on your plane, if theres letters available. Adding k to the end of a number is shorthand for adding 3 zeroes on the end.
As a low tier air arcade player, i wonder if you can show more of a defenders side as well. Ive already reached top tier and spaded both ground and air in japan but grinding through the american line is painful especially since im spading the P47s and theyre notorious for poor acceleration and turns
Not only is it a three dimensional game, the entire formula becomes even funnier as not only is it "a² + b² = c²". It now becomes "a² + b² + c² = d²", so even more cutoff...
I only play RB and most of this stuff is just surface level what you need to know if you want more than an 0.8 kd there... But honestly im still watching cus my god there are air maps that arent flatter a sheet of paper and im enthralled.
One time I was circling around the enemy who was doing the same thing as me (I caught up and killed him eventually) but for a solid 5 mins we went in this weird circle loop.

so rate or sustained is moving thru ur circle faster than baddie circle and radius or instantaneous is making smaller circle than baddie circle 🗿

Bro I just started war thunder because of your last video ( I like plane games and trolling people ), this really helps, thanks!
now to counter the attacker you simply make them overshoot if you arent able to use terrain, all of this is very useful in the a/j 21's and the narval
