I've used this system for a few years. I made myself a ribbon marker - 6 black for the old testament and 4 red for the new testament, I find that more practical than paper bookmarks. If you don't sew, you could knot the top or thread 5 double length ribbons through a bead then wind some thread around it, put beads on the bottom, all sorts. I then be use a bible checklist to mark off what I've read. Works for me 😊. Hope that helps someone.
I do a modified version of this plan it’s mostly the same as the original except for the Acts list. I added Acts to the Gospels and use that list to read any book that I want, right now it’s Daniel.
thanks for the video! I loved this plan and did it for many months but I had a hard time keeping track of where I was and eventually stopped using it. I just found an app with the plan so it's easier to keep track of. Going to give it a try again. its called unquenched bible. Thought it might be helpful for others.
I started this reading plan two days ago. Today I found your video. Just when I said to myself "I wish I'd found this video and the link before I made my own Excel spreadsheet!" I find that the link for the checklist apparently no longer works. Just fyi. But the video is great and very encouraging. Thank you.
I use an app on my phone. I check off each chapter and it tells me where to read the next day. No bookmarks, no tabs, no paper at all. I like things simple.
Thank you so much for this! I came across his plan and want to start, but this helps work out some of the confusion I had with his original list and how to stay organized. Thank you!
Are you still working through this plan. I’m currently on day 151. I like it over all but I do find it to like it a lot to time to work through. Perhaps not as much as at first but I do find it harder to focus on study while doing this program. If you have an update years later it would be interesting to see. Thanks for your video.
Hello! Thank you for your tips and also explanation about how this reading plan had made a diff in your life since your address reading Gods Word more! It was encouraging to hear how God is helping you thru in practical ways, as you are using this plan to keep you reading much of His Word! Might you be able to provide a link to the site where you printed off the checklists? Thank you!
Thank you for the comment. As to your question, check the links in the description of the video. They should still be up. Many folks have made all sorts of check lists for this system online. If the link doesn’t work, I promise you will find one quickly online. Everyone has taken the plan and done their own thing with it. God bless!
This reading plan is aggressive. Especially for those of us that stop and study and create our own cross references. The 10 chapters usually took me an hour to an hour and a half. But reading through this greatly helps you learn how Scripture interprets Scripture. Starting this year I started the Robert Murray McCheyne plan. Four chapters a day.
I'm in a dilemma! It's Jan 1st 2024. I've read thru the Grant Horner's Bible Plan for '23'. Do I now go back to reading Genesis 1 and Matthew 1 etc..? ..or do I continue on with what I've been in?? Help! Thank you!
I don’t remember the brand but they worked fine. I actually don’t use the sticky tabs anymore since they slowed me down. I just use regular bookmarks or a checklist from my folder. Some Sticky tabs may be too rough for very thin Bible paper but I haven’t had any problem with them.
Do you have a saved copy of the checklist that you're using that you can share? It looks like the link above is no longer working and I can't find it anywhere else. Thanks - great video!
Looks like everyone has been telling me that. That’s a bummer, cause really, it was the best one I could find. Here is a link to another page that has one. grant-horner-bible-reading-plan-pdf.weebly.com You may have to scavenge the internet and see what you can find. But this is a start. Sorry they took the pdf down. Bummer.

I use unquenched! It's great! Been doing this plan since 2020. Will definitely be my staple reading plan for a long time

Would you mind sharing your checklist with me by any chance. I tried his link as well.
@@user-eq9oq2dm9tIt worked for me.
Brilliant thank you

Can you share what the app is called?
@@hydeekimble2626 Sorry for the delayed reply. It's an iOS app called ReadingPlan

Nope! You keep going on the plan as you left off. You never read the same list twice ever again!
Could one include the Deuterocanonical books that are in Catholic bibles with this plan?
Want to do this, but the plan is not available on the link that you have posted. Help!?
What tabs are you using to mark chapters? Have you had any problems with them being too sticky and causing damage to the page?
