These one-click factories are awesome! I've been adapting the concept for vertical tower manifolds and moving sub-parts between towers on conveyors for more complex parts. I'd never have guessed you'd find a way to build something as complex as a computer from ore in one blueprint!
@@DrLootCrate I'm relatively new, but one friend I play with is at the point where he'd rather avoid clipping and floating stuff. I figure we all get to that point eventually
Dude! I didn't even notice! eagle eye. When I had to do some quick surgery to get things to line up at the end, I must have moved the machine 1 notch up without noticing. That violates my core principles!
Question: Can you use a blueprint to form a blueprint? When you had the 3 assemblers to set up, if you setup 1 of them with the corresponding splitters/mergers and save it as its own blueprint, can you paste the other two into the mainbuild blueprint?
I did this build but with an Extra 2 Constructors on the floor with Copper Wire and Circuit Boards to make 20 more Copper Sheets so id minimize the amount of Power cells needed by 4. The caviat to this was my build is clipping gruesomely in some areas but i made no effort to alleviate the issue since it doesnt bother me
29:04 Why on earth would you, when overclocking where you need more than one shard, and have more than one machine, not spread the shards out for better power efficiency?
Because I have 50 GW of power! That power saved doing that means nothing to me, but if it means something to you, by all means adapt the design to do so
Just for any new players this tutorial is unfortunately outdated. With the new satisfactory update the computer recipe has changed and the height of the manufacturer has also changed. This is still a great tutorial however you won't be producing the perfect amount of stuff. I still use this blueprint but I'd recommend using the blueprint MK2 as everything will fit.
Good job! But I prefer to build smelters array next to miner and never transport raw resources, only ingots (plastic, rubber, etc.). So, the 1st floor is useless for me :) I also usually build technical 0th floor for underground conveyors and other communications between blocks Also always including floor foundations make life easier
My blueprints file themselves are reserved for my awesome patreons. Check the link in the description if you are interested. If you aren’t into that, no problem. You just got free instructions on how to do it yourself.
excelent build man - just the plastic as a pre made product - alll the other stuff is just extracted ore so ... great, really great man.
Thanks Sammy! It is fun trying to figure these out and glad you like the vid

Thanks morsey! That sounds pretty awesome. Conveyors between towers always looks pretty cool. It is fun to try and figure fitting this stuff in
Amazing video and engineering keep up these amazing Blueprint factories pls
*Me just clipping everything through everything*
Honestly it’s not a bad way to go. Sometimes I drive myself nuts trying to keep it organized

i do spagetti factories
@@Dem0n5 I started with crap all over the place too. 800 hours later the organization kinds of comes naturally
@@MilesProwerTailsFox Tasty!
nice video i thought this was made by the devs to advertise blueprints, they should hire you lol
Haha thanks pope! They did show one of my vids on their stream 2 months ago, but it was goofy one about a factory cart World Cup
What is that at 31:00 just cleaving that elevator right in half with a belt! You are truly evil!

You know what would be like super cool, being able to import and export blueprints, or atleast share them between people on multiplayer servers
nice video and build!
Thanks Timmy! Glad you enjoyed it
i would prefer to use glass foundations and deal with the minor clipping instead of roofs but otherwise this is excellent!
That is a good call. A happy medium that doesn’t throw off alignment. Glad you enjoyed the build!
you can fix the splitter issue with temp foundations just erase them after you place the spliter

You can! In fact I start most of my blueprints by dropping in a 4x4 foundation blueprint

They could do with a signal wall hole left and right version
No doubt! I think there should be a place able wall hole like there is for pipes

Thanks for letting the people know! I probably need to make another round
How'd you know I have a RGB mouse?? Is this black magic
Haha. There are only two possibilities - a fancy RGB mouse or a dell mouse taken from work
I have a cheap 2000’s mouse found in *that* box of cables, I don’t know why I still have it…

bad video bad explanation i just lost time
Thanks for watching!
am i the only one finding this game so boring and so unchallenging ?
It can definitely get tedious at times. I have been taking a little break from it myself, but I will be back at it soon with update 8!
i find it satisfying and it gives my kind of a minecraft feel in both exploration and building (Pun not intended)
