All people in plural systems are different, their experiences can be very different, their systems can be very different, and they can experience plurality very differently from other people (other alters, alters in other systems and other systems). I have (almost) never heard voices, for example, never intrusively, never like this, for sure. I’m not at functional plurality because I have basically no communication, and am in more of a P-DID presentation system that is closer to DID or OSDD-1A than to OSDD-1b. Systems often need to learn to find a way to function for the most part cooperatively, efficiently, and effectively to avoid chaos. That can be difficult.

The worst part is when alters want stuff that is diametrically opposed to what other alters want and like

We agree 100%. We also struggle with ARFID, and listening to cravings one has is important as long as it is something that others in the system aren't very opposed to.

It can be extremely overwhelming! This causes burnout a lot of times because we are also autistic.
