Omg. YESSS. I don't have DID but I can relate to the head phone thing SO MUCH. They are basically glued to my head and my family dosn't like it.
I’m so glad to see more systems being proud and out! Also, I have two alters that have accents as well and they become muddy sometimes when someone is co-conscious as well. Glad to see that happens to others. We live in Florida, but I know we want one of your scarfs regardless.

Ahaha I thought the same thing when I watched that interview with Encina - It was the first thing I ever saw about DID
Now, the world can be a nasty crazy place out there, we need a lot of courage and we need a lot of resilience after that, and we will fall down before we stand up…
What really matters is the silence of the night in our conscience, when we are alone.
We cannot control what happens but we can use what happens.
We have so much reserves of love and support inside us, if we can just remember that in our mind and move on.
By the way, i would love to get some of your knitted things, but it does say that you dont Ship to germany

I have physical issues. Like low blood pressure that causes lack of blood pressure to the head and forgetfulness. So taking records of lectures and writing timestamps on the paper notes speeds the review study process up.

this is the first time I am watching your videos and I have some questions, like do you ever talk with each other. and what is it like when you are not in control, what happens? this might be my biggest question though, how did you get D.I.D. , also do you or do you not sort of like it. knowing that there is always other people (sort of :) ) around. sometimes I feel like im one more disaster away from getting D.I.D. my life is hard. I have been going through so much stuff lately that i feel like my mind is splitting open. i wouldnt even care if i DID get D.I.D. because it would mean i wasn't alone I could get some help with my problems (and everything and i am not joking when i say that. my life is messed up right now :( )
We definitely talk with each other, and we have a whole inner world that is in our head for when we aren’t in control (I’ll link the first video we made about it here) And I think that one explains the regions you asked about too :)

Do we like it? Sort of. It has its bonuses, but there are many many downsides. Our fiancé actually made a video called Why You Don’t Want DID, which we can’t recommend enough- that’s right here as well.

Now, how did we get it? That’s a question that you don’t typically want to ask people with DID, as that can be extremely personal, and could cause flashbacks, but since you’re new here and I’m feeling like being brutally honest, and since we’re working on trauma processing anyway, I’ll tell you 😂

So at age 3, we were given LSD against our will (drug-laced candy), then restrained, raped, tased repeatedly, and flash photographed to the point where the flashes alone would cause major sensory overload the whole time. That caused the first split which was Devon (host), Parsifal (original), and Xavier (core), along with some fragments. There was a lot of later abuse, which got our alter count up to over 200, but that’s how it started
You don’t have to have abuse that severe to get DID though, we’ve even read about a case called The 3 Faces Of Eve, where a lady got DID from being in car crashes as a child. The way you typically form it is trauma before the age of 9, which prevents the identity from fully fusing like a normal person, and instead compartmentalizes the brain.
We have a ton of videos that would answer a lot of questions if there’s more you want to know- we put most of the best ones in the Best For Beginners playlist on our channel if you were looking for more stuff :)

Hi chaps and chapettes of the system, bona fide British system here - English, actually, and Fenrir's accent is spoopy natural English to my ear, when not co-con. Couldn't place it but I'd say South somewhere. Have y'all ever lived here? I've seen actors receive English acclaim for less convincing English accents.
Also, there's no such thing as a British accent. There is no accent that just sounds British, I wouldn't know what that sounds like. English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh, if you pleeeeAAAASE. British identity is a thing; British accent is a mere silly idea.
(And if you'd tell everyone in your country as well, we'd all really appreciate your hard work and maybe send you some nice tinned food.)
