Hi, can you possibly explain how this might be used for adjusting the fence on a sliding table saw? I could really do with something to help with that.
I just want to say, as a legally blind woodworker, this is an amazing innovation. I can't rely on my eyes to detect minor gaps when using straight edges. This makes it so i can use tactile cues instead. Thank you for this.
Oh man l, that’s right!!! I remember you! It was so nice to work with you and Chris our director said amazing things. Glad we can be a small part of your amazing journey. Cheers
@@katzmosestoolsI just started work on a pretty cool Lazy Susan project with integrated accent lighting and I couldn't have done it without that router table.
I just got the Jig out of the box today. It is truly amazing. The fit and finish is remarkably high quality and it performs even better than expected. Amazing work!!! Thank you!
Wow…I just watched this and Andrew Klein showing how to use this to create a zero clearance insert and square up my miter saw…Absolutely AMAZING! Another GREAT contribution for the Woodworking Community!
Ordered already! Not just for making a cross cut sled, but the fact I can just make a simple cut into a piece and then have an instant perpendicular fence is golden!!
I love that you are willing to put the time, money and effort to making these innovative tools. I used to use a speed square in a similar fashion but that clamping fence is what sets it apart.

Great work. I realize the time, effort, ingenuity, etc… is part of the pricing process but you releasing a product of that level quality and at less than a third of what I expected from another “red” woodworking company is simply OUTSTANDING. Look forward to have ing one in my shop!
Well said! I FIRMLY believe in making wood working accessible to all and that means not charging what I could but charging what’s fair. Elegant simplicity doesn’t have to be expensive. Thank you
I like the tool, but disagree on the cost comments. $130 is quite expensive for a tool that will sit in a drawer for 99.9% of its life and has very limited use cases. I'm sure Woodpeckers would charge significantly more, but $400 is ridiculous hyperbole.
Hey Jonathan, Congrats! I know you have been working on this for a long time, and it's so beautifully designed. You should be really proud of this. I've been putting off re-building my sled for years, so I can't wait to try this tool out!
Literally finished the video, liked it, went straight to your page and bought the kit and jig. You're an absolute gift to the world of woodworking, and I appreciate all your hard work you put in to making it something anyone can do!
This couldn't have come at a better time. I have been putting off doing my sled because I was intimidated by the process. However, I was planning to finally try making one in about a week. NOW, this will absolutely take the fear out of the process. Thanks Jonathan. Once again you hit it out of the ballpark for those newbies like me.
I love wood working in my spare time. I have 4 young kids so the spare time is hard to come by. I always wanted (needed) a cross cut sled but it always got pushed down the list. I'm proud of you as well, and I was just thinking of making it an adjustment to my big crosscut sled. Going to wait a little just so I can try out your. Thanks so much for the effort you put in to this and all of your tools and workflows.
Congratulations KM! I am glad my old sled was not the only one that look like someone shot it will a machine gun before I could get it square. Was a awesome Idea. I will have to add that tool to the shopping list.

Excellent tool! I have one of those sleds with a dozen holes in the bottom as I burned up wood trying the 5 cut method. This tool is a huge time and frustration saver Thanks so much. And it will be great for quick checking before a project as my shop is a garage type and the sleds are prone to warping.
I just want to say thank you for coming up with this tool. I have been making fairly high end wood projects (crazy custom stuff for gifts in a pro shop) for years and I DREAD having to make a new sled. This is worth every penny! I am ordering right away. I just wish I had seen this sooner.

I gravitate towards people who are so passionate about their craft and show such enthusiasm. Thanks for elevating the community and delivering awesome content. Can’t wait to try this out!
Excellent concept JKM , I’ve built far too many sleds for myself and others. My first IIRC had multiple holes and screws, much like yours, searching for the perfect 5 cut measurement. This should make it a simple task for everyone. Thanks!!
This is the most beautifully simple but genius bit of workshop kit I have seen in a long time...maybe ever. Thank you for all you do for the woodworking community and getting the tools into the hands of those who need them most. Like another comment said, it's not just the tools, it's your genuine enthusiasm and absolutely clear love of all you are doing. I will, most certainly be ordering one of these.....along with a bunch of other kit, no doubt. Lots of love and sawdusty hugs from the UK. ❤

😮 JKM I forgot that I had ordered this from you way back in the middle of April shortly after it was introduced or announced! Since then I’ve done a bunch of stuff and just got back from 3 1/2 weeks in Europe. A couple of days ago it arrived. Not much to say about it except it is one of the most awesome and simple to use jigs I’ve ever bought. I had already bought a nice sled kit from one of your woodworking buddies on another channel. I will probably make a couple of more crosscut sleds of different sizes. But like you, the squaring drama was the part that always bothered me. Using your tool it was amazing. Thanks again so much for all you do for the community. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
JKM, Dude, this is awesome. I've always been impressed with your products and designs, but before now, they were mostly better versions of something we were familiar with. This is something new under the sun. Congratulations on such an innovation and on being a patent author. Thank you for all you do and for truly caring about the success of us all.
I didn’t even finish watching the video before I ordered one. Making accurate stable saw sleds have been such an annoyance to me, that I don’t use the two I have because they aren’t accurate enough. This will convince me to remake them, and do them right. Thanks again Jonathon!
When I first started watching, I thought, man, making a sled(s) is like the baptism everyone needs as you move forward in your woodworking journey. That said, seeing all those holes, and having made yet another sled just yesterday, when I checked the price for this amazing device, I thought, man oh man, I have to have one of these~!~ More than fair price, especially when you realize(if your new) just how incredibly important square is. Thank you thank you. I'm between jobs, and it's the first of the month, but there's no doubt that I'll be getting one of these.
Awesome product. The fact nobody did this before you is weird. It seems so obvious when you make it like this. GREAT JOB! Saves tons of time making sleds and other jigs.
Just put an order in for the whole kit it’s gonna be worth the wait! This is the second thing I bought from you, the first being the universal trim router jig and bench top router table and they’ve been the most useful tools I’ve used in my wood working and I’m excited to FINALLY have a crosscut sled that I know is square. Not to mention having an easier way to square up the fence to my miter saw. Hope I can find other uses for it too like you guys.
That is amazing! It is so beautiful, I watched you do the setup 4 times, like that part of a movie you rewind and watch again and again. What? That's not what I meant! Such a pleasure to see perfection demonstrated:)
I've built a couple of crosscut sleds and the bottom of both looks the same as yours. Adjust , adjust, adjust. Tedious, time consuming, and frustrating. This is brilliant and I love your kit! Yeah, I could cut my own pieces, but why when I can buy them already cut? Will this work on jobsite tables as well? I'm assuming it does because it's all about square and straight. I have a few of your tools already and I absolutely love them. I'm in for getting this ... just as soon as I get my shop insulated, cleaned, and organized appropriately.
This is a true innovation! Video was really well produced also. A crosscut sled is such an essential jig for the TS but many woodworkers don’t invest the time in making one.
This tool needs to be in my shop! I just built eight huge acoustic panels for my home recording studio, and I used your dovetail guide to dovetail all the frames.
For quite a bit of us, accuracy is KING! Just goes to show you, a person doesn't have to sell a kidney to invest in an extremely accurate tool. I love making these sleds, but dialing them in can be so frustrating. Thanks for developing this tool. You will probably see my order tomorrow.
Any time now I’m gonna get going on my woodwork journey, once I’ve finished renovating my house, and I’m gonna be using all these great jigs. Just awesome. 🙌🏻👌👏🏼
I remember how stoked I was over the years when I ordered the magnetic dovetail guide, stop block, and especially router plane. But dadgum! I’m super stoked for this to arrive! KM, I bet you’re most proud of this creation.
Was watching while cooking. The first 12 minutes i was wondering what the fuzz is .. can find enough sled-tutorials. But at 12:00 it dawns me .. what a nifty, handy tool!
brilliant Idea!! I'm in the process of making a 6' sled with a aluminum back fence. I want to make accurate corners for steamer chest. What I've come up with is using all thread on each end. One side achord the other floating until I get the back exactly perpendicular to the saw blade then I will anchor the back fence to the base of the sled. I can make slight adjustments to the nuts on the all thread to dial the back fence to the saw blade. This is the second one. the first sled was a test to make sure it stayed square.
I bought my kit before the video ended. I was so excited to get this tool I forgot to order the stop block when I bought the kit😂. I love tools that give you your time back in the shop.
Wonderful tool! If I had the money I’d buy one immediately. So many potential uses for this. Can’t wait to see how everyone uses it. Thanks for your ingenuity.
This looks really great and not super expensive, have 2 questions: 1: what size do you recommend for the base, can it be 26" x 32"? 1/2" or 3/4" plywood? 2: Will the sled runners wear out over time so that they do not fit tight?
You can use any size you want for the base. I like 1/2” because it gives you a little extra blade height. The runners will last a long time. If they ever get loose add a strip of blue tape to snug them up. Probably much longer than the zero clearance of your kerf
I built my sled using UJK Parf guide dog holes. So I know it's super accurate (and so easy to mate the fence) But that tracksaw use case is very very intriguing. When you're breaking down, sheet goods, sometimes you can't use the square rail. Being able to square your cut in the middle of the sheet is genius! And I think you're one or two step/design away from being able to line up the track for straight cuts. @2:25 instead of a square cut, if you could but the track against the red/body part, you can guarantee the continuation cut of the tracksaw is straight.
As someone who is fairly new to woodworking, I'm still learning a lot of techniques but a sleed would greatly improve my stills. The one thing I don't want to worry about is weather or not my jig is cutting straight. As soon as I get some extra money, I'll be purchasing!
You're da man! Excellent tool to make building a crosscut sled easier and more accurate. Plus another awesome JKM video explaining how to use the tool and make a crosscut sled. I was so impressed, that I too bought the kit. Keep up the great work!
Kumiko sleds would benefit hugely from this. You have to make so many specific sleds and your jig square would save HOURS of time and frustration. Also, excellent way of spacing the runners together in the slot.
as a carpenter i would love to see a similar design for a router as it is one of the most used tools in my shop. I haven't built a crosscut sled but its on my to-dos! def will be looking into getting your kit! love the channel keep up the good work!
Purchased materials for a sled years ago and have been intimidated to try one. Bought this kit to make life easier. Any idea when you expect these to ship? Ordered a month ago but haven’t received any updates. Love your passion and appreciate you.
Purchased when I saw it in my email before I even watched the video. I’m one of those who has put off making a cross-cut sled for the very reason of the five cut method. Been using my Incra 5000 (which is great, don’t get me wrong), but there a times when a cross-cut sled would come in clutch. Thanks, JKM!

Just ordered the kit. It says backordered, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long. Can't wait to try it.
as a carpenter i would love to see a similar design for a router as it is one of the most used tools in my shop. I haven't built a crosscut sled but its on my to-dos! def will be looking into getting your kit! love the channel keep up the good work!
I ordered one and have been waiting on it, went back to the link and people have been using and reviewing it already. When will mine ship?
Well when?
Awesome product!!! As always! Can't wait for mine! I just returned from Mexico and am going to put the box joint jig together!
Johnathan! You're a God damn genius - _You did it again_
Just bought my first table saw. Looking forward to the ease of this kit!
I just received mine! It's really built solid. Thank you.
Great to hear!
This is a game changer for a metal shop! I'll definitely be ordering one!
After watching many of your videos over the years. I felt compelled to order you new bundle with the stop block and sled kit and new adjustment
This is awesome! I recently built a table saw sled... but have yet to want/find the time to square it up 😅
I bought this kit and it is awesome, thank you
Ordered!! Just rebuilt an old Delta RAS. This should make building the new table and fence a dream.
