I got the paint cones too. Here's a tip: because they leave scratches easily because they are pointed, put a piece of tape or on the tip or even dip it in epoxy for a smooth surface.

I keep several of those sanding mice in my shop, one for each grit sanding disk I have. I mark them with a black Sharpie marker so I don't have to guess which grit I'm grabbing. When the sandpaper wears out, I replace it with the same grit.

I think the 36 degree is so you can divide a circle into 10 segments? or if you were to cut 36 of the ends of 5 boards you could put them together to make a pentagon.

Matt, Just a note about your comment with the "T-tracks and arriving safely with their shipping technique. I ordered a set of 2 of their T-tracks, and they arrived in fine shape. Howvere, not being metric savvy, I ended up with 30 30mm tracks. I re-ordered the appropriate 19mm ones which equate to the 3/4" imperial measurement. They also arrived as straight as an arrow. So, I'm 4 for 4 on straight tracks 😁

Hi Matt! I love your videos! I get lots of inspiration and inFORmation on subjects I never would have thought of. So, thank you for sharing your talent with us. Just so you know, I had to call Temu customer support once and actually asked about the pronunciation and... well... you're doin' it wrong! lol It's a LONG e with emphasis on the first syllable: "TEE-moo." Thanks for sharing the good the bad and the ugly so those of us just starting out don't waste money on junk that doesn't work (i.e. the handheld router you tried - I ALMOST bought one!) I've bought a LOT of small tools from Temu and the only one I've had a problem with was the countersink bit. I used it on a steel bed frame I was repurposing and they dulled after just a few seconds of use. They would probably work fine on wood, but they were supposedly titanium, so I figured they'd be fine.

    • @dc6233

This is awesome actually!!! I've been hesitant about buying products from this site. One thing that I have had my eyes on was some of the after market replacement miter gauges for table saws ( and some other table saw accessories) that are offered. If you or anyone else has "braved" the cost of testing out some of the miter gauges, please let me know.
They are very expensive, they range from $30 to $60 bucks or so..... nothing outrageously priced, but when you live on an extremely tight budget, every little dollar counts!!!!
Again, thanks for any type of information!!

That glue brush set with glue tray and spreader looks like a direct knockoff of Rockler’s. Not right and also not a good endorsement of it for that same reason. Just my 2 cents.

The ones rockler sells are probably made at the exact same factory as the temu ones. Rockler or kreg dont own a factory that makes their products, they outsource. No reason to pay for the name.

    Isn't 36 one-tenth 360?

If you get something you do not like they instantly refund your money.. Some items if left in your cart Temu will offer a big discount. It seems completely random.. I got that digital angle finder for under 7 bucks when an offer popped up.. AND those silicone mats are almost completely heat proof...

No matter where I mske a purchase. No matter what brand, somewhere is wtitten, "Made in China." I have bought a lot of stuff. A very small % were unacceptable but they were so cheap it didn't matter. I more than made up on the 90% stuff I am still getting great function from.

Man, everything in my Temu ads is under $5. I didn't realize they sold anything for $30. LOL

I hate Temu! I used the link you provided for the paint-pyramids, went through the whole process of buying them at a great price of £1.49, until the very last stage when I was informed that I had to spend a minimum of £15 to process the order. The additional spend had to be on a small selection of products, non of which were of any interest. Apart from that, your videos are really good, although the sponsorships are getting in the way these days.

Yeah, some of these things are knock-offs, but if the big companies do not have a patent, shame on them. Cheap things can usually be designed just enough differently to get around patents anyway. I worked 30 years in corporate America and saw them get rich off employees' ideas who got a pat on the back and dinner for 2 at Outback. I do not feel sorry for them in the least.

Thanks Matt all these are good to know and a fair comment. Actually I purchased the Kreg Gauges that I purchase when you first illustrated them and their one of the most used tools in my shop. God bless and peace be with yo and your family!

The only thing I can think of for the 36 degree stop is that 360 / 36 = 10
