Wonderful, brilliant video. There are so many narcissistic and mentally ill people in this world. My father is a Borderline Personality and his brother is a Paranoid Schizophrenic who’s in the mad house for strangling my grandma and attacking my father with an ax. I grew up in such hell, afraid for my life from my crazy uncle, and afraid of my evil, bullying, beating father. My mother wouldn’t protect me, and I was even forced into the Army by my mother and her two millionaire brothers who threatened to take away my mother’s money if I didn’t accept an appointment to the military academy. I feel so lost and unloved in this world. I never even formed self esteem or acceptance. I know my family is literally full of crazy people, and I feel like they’ve tried their best to make me like them.

You are loved. I know I am a complete stranger to you, but, I pray that the pain of what has happened to you in your life becomes tiny in comparison to the love you receive from others.

Thank you David! How I have needed this since I was a little girl. It has been a recent discovery to realize my mother is a narcissist and find it hard to admit it or even question, in doubt if she really is? Learning that there are narcissit who do good things for others made a lot more sense to me.
As I did this exercise today for the first time, my tears poured down my face like a river and it has been a long time since I have allowed myself to cry like that. Even saying these words I think to myself, am I playing the victim? Am I a narcissist? Isn't it crazy how much self doubt we can have, specially when dealing with a narcissist in your life?
So thank you, my body needs to release these trapped emotions as do I want to love myself fully and completelly. I am worthy and deserving of good in my life!

I was so lost in rage from my husband turning the tables on me and blaming the things that upset me about him on me. I was going crazy and had no one to hear me or understand my rage from frustration and instead of being heard by him he believed something was wrong with me and that he was being victimized by me. This video just centered me on my truth as the truth and it helped me feel better.

Good for you, don't let the psychopaths fool you. Hold them to account. They are the ones with the problem and not you. Tap some more it will help, best wishes.

Mine did the same. I tried holding him accountable and standing up to him and he turned around and accused me of
making it all his fault and like I’m the narcissist. They get in your head and are so good at it. Everything they say you are doing is their own behaviour.

Very helpfull video in dealing with narcissistic abuse in my youth and recent longterm relationship with my ex. Helps me to release a lot of the confusion, self doubt, fear and grief. Maybe its different depending on the situation. I myself was abused by covert narcissists, mother, sister and ex-girlfriend. They always made me feel that i never loved them enough. I tried to save them from something that wasnt my fault or responsibility. I feel that in many of these video's the focus is on overt narcissism. I think i was a victim of covert narcissistic females. Hasnt left me angry but emotionally depleted. Because i could never give them enough love. It was never enough. So i have my focus on compassion with myself and maybe later with them. Because i had you could say way to much compassion. I hope someone recognices this. And that it may help victims of people with covert (often female) narcissistic personality disorder wich is not the same as a narcissist.

After years of making excuses for a domineering and over-critical older brother that can start an argument out of nowhere, I have finally decided to go no contact. I should have done it years ago. Thank so much for this video, it's helped me to make the break.

Thanks David. My family choose to blame my cats instead of admitting that they are the problem for everything. They pretend to have forgotten that they were bad to me, before I had my cats.
They cannot stand to see me happy. They only want me to keep serving them with my blood, sweat, time and money.

Thank you for your service work by posting your video. Bullying narcissists are everywhere and probably not going into recovery anytime soon. (If ever) Tapping a narcissist on the head might cause legal problems, so I'll just tap on myself. 🙊 🙉 🙈

One thing though. In your script you talk about taking responsibility for staying when you could have walked away. That leaves out the very real factor of the peptide addiction...the chemical bonding that occurs in the brain that even heroin addicts have said is harder to quit than heroin! It’s really not a simple thing to just walk away. It’s literally the hardest thing to break away from and this can come across as victim blaming for people who know they need to get away but are addicted to the person via oxytocin and Peptides that create the trauma bond.

Wow, I have had this SO much in my life! I am felt horrible about myself because the way people have treated me, I have been suppressing how I felt about how I have been treated because I felt like I was not good enough and deserved to be treated like that, (LOA BS) thank you
