Yesterday, fire investigators here in Norway told that a plastic beach ball was a probably cause of a massive forest fire that reached homes too, last summer. It worked as a magnifying glass in the sun in the dry vegetation and strong wind made it bad quickly.
I love the dash cam video and audio from the incidents. Could you publish more of that? I love the perspective of the commanders working together with their trucks parked next to each other!
@@RandomVideoEditors They very much can say what dispatch software they use. And I have zero interest in trying to access their* (grammar) CAD. My agency is looking at switching.
Great vlog and it's nice to see the team back together! As I watched the video from the BC trucks, I recalled the original onboard videos using low resolution B/W Ntsc equipment. The 4K resolution of your current onboard video systems is truly amazing and really enhances the feeling of being on scene. Kudos to SMF for recognizing the importance of having high quality videos. Keep up the great videos and above all STAY SAFE! 🚒🚑😷
Those insane winds you got a few days after the brush fire ripped through western Iowa the next day causing at least nine confirmed tornadoes in the tri-state area. Standing outside before the storms hit if it wasn't for the neighbor's Christmas decorations it looked like it was July again. Wish I had thought to mount my gopro outside before it hit. That was the first, and I hope, the only time I've heard the sirens go off in December for a reason other than their monthly test.
This ducks first bubble bath. I am sure they enjoyed the warm bath and not the cold rinse. Drilling a hole into a fuel tanker, not my idea of fun at all. Righting it was not a safe option I take it? At least the house explosion was handled quickly and resolved. That is a problem in Colorado, with the nice winter weather we also have no moisture too often therefore Wildfires any time of the year and windy days are very common as well. Luckily, we have you to intervene 24/7 to put them out and save properties and people too. Great video and nice patches too.
Greetings from Sochi! Happy new year colleagues! 🎄Good job, stay safe! I was pleasantly surprised how the firemen washed the ducks, very noble! We do not have such work experience 🙂
Thanks for the new vlog Eric and Connor 👍 WOW 😮 those Chatridge fires are intense *** glad to see that homes weren't destroyed *** was also pretty intense at that Tanker rollover 😮😳😳 thankful that the truck driver was not injured 👍 Happy New Year Eric and Connor 🎉🎉. Seeing those ducks be rescued, triaged, cleaned was Awesome 😎 ❤️ hope they're healthy now 👍
I don't know what the vehicle was, but I do know it was South Metro personnel, and they passed along Zulu command to them. So they gave that vehicle a second Ops channel to basically run the scene and resources that was on the opposite side that the Battalion Chief was on
I believe it was Special Ops 10 who is the District Chief for Ops Bureau who would serve as in certain cases as Division leader, operations commander and more of the leading/supervising duties
Actually disregard my last it is actually OPS 1 who is the Assistant chief of Emergency Services Division and will be a command unit and supervising unit
Do you think there will be more wide spread destructive suburban wildfires in the future with so many neighborhoods popping up in what was once dry natural open space? I'd hate to see another Marshall type fire but also understand times are changing.
Awesome video, you guy never dissapoiont, I wish you a happy new year and I have a question the Grass and Scrub (Wildland) Fire, What where the unmarked car for or how use them?
Happy new year Kim Connor and Eric hope you guys had a good Christmas I miss everyone of my south metro PIO officers your friend in north Springfield Missouri kyle oh I still got my patch wall thank you guys for the recommendation for a patch wall
Question for you let's say there's a public information officer like you in an area and right around that same area a cardiac arrest goes out will you guys respond to that and start doing basic life support until a medic unit gets there?

It's been like a year and District 1 is probably still getting that alert.

Great job guys! Let's hope there isn't a Chatridge 4 fire! And thanks for helping the ducks!!! Be safe!
I love and have mad respect for firefighters. They just show that there are still kind people in the world.

Awesome footage. I hope you both and your families have a wonderful New Year 💛💗.
