You should tell the venue managers, PR people, pretty much anyone in the live music industry, that you have a large audience who would like to hear about their jobs, concerns, things they wish the public knew, etc. The content will create itself AND your profile in the industry will continue to grow. The most popular videos will create a stable of people you can check in with when you're not on tour.
Good call on the reactions, everybody does them. As for the lifestyle stuff, that's not my bag, but as you say, you have to love what you do, so best of luck with it.

As someone who became a dad in summer 2020, diagnosed with crohns disease in 2021, and been battling with depression and health issues for the past 4 years I cannot wait for the new channel. A channel like that will help me kind of get into the mood to get up, get moving and start eating better for myself, my wife and my daughter. Cheers to a hopefully great 2024 and healthy journey!

Never get down on yourself. There is always someone that has it worse and you need to be grateful for what is good in your life. There is always something that is positive in everyone’s life. Whenever you get down or struggling with health issues remind yourself that you need to push yourself for your family. It will always give you strength.
I started watching you BECAUSE of your music industry discussions. I work for a concert venue and found your videos about management/production/operations from the touring perspective very insightful. As someone who works dozens of shows within a venue’s team, your content has been a window into the mindset and experience of the touring side, which is the other half to a concert. It has helped me excel at my job as I have a better understanding of what the tour’s mindset is when putting a show on while having more empathy for tour side of the show when something doesn’t go as they planned. So thank you, Tank! I love the industry discussions and the idea of on the road vlogs.

I've always been curious about what exactly a guitar tech does in terms of getting instruments ready, keeping them in order, keeping a supply of strings, caring for and adjusting amps and pedals. How busy is a guitar tech before, during, and after a show? I'd love to see a video where you discuss that specific job.
It's been a bit, but I've been missing the Interviews you've done with Bands/Artists/People in the music industry.
If that's something you're not burnt out on like reactions, I would love to see those come back!
I'm not burnt out, I've just had no time for the most part, but I plan on bringing them back.

I love the focus on doing what you actually enjoy doing. I can tell when channels (understandably) lean into doing what is more revenue-generated compared to what they enjoy. You see them become more stale, gimmicky, or just burn-out.

Found you when BRRF was falling apart. Worked backwards and watched old content while watching your new content. Your reactions are different than most others because of your background, so I hope those continue from time to time. I’m looking forward to your tour vlogs, but I’ll be here as long as you’re here- you were born for this.
A few things to unpack here. First, brilliant idea to move away from reactions and into more industry content. That’s exciting and you’re 100% right how saturated it is. As someone who works for a national sports company, I’m more used to the behind the curtain and would love to see that with what you do.
Second, I transitioned to a stay at home dad early last year. I’m still touring part time with the sports company but walked away from my full time job. I feel the weight gain and health issues creeping in. Like you, my diet and exercise just faded away without realizing it. So this new channel will definitely be something that I hope helps me regain some control of my health and sense of mind.

I'm in a nearly identical health situation. I have to drive 20 mins to a gym . I also have an irrational level of anxiety going alone. When I do go, I go with my father who is way better about knowing what to do and how to do it. He works a lot though so it's not a regular sched. That being said I'd totally sub to the other channel . Looking forward to the upcoming music content as well !! I found you initially via your reactions but really enjoyed the more in depth topics that have cropped up since then !!

I'm glad you have a plan to navigate creating content and the touring work; it sounds like it would be cool to see some behind the scenes of what goes into that. There's bits in some documentaries, but getting a perspective from someone working it will be cool.
As someone who went to school for two nutrition degrees, I'm glad to hear you are putting more focus on your health. The pandemic was a crazy time, so a lot of us were slacking on the more healthy parts of living. Being new parents, it's very understandable to have veered off course with diet and exercise, but as I'm sure you're considering that it's also good as parents to be healthy for you family, in addition to your own personal benefits in health. I'm glad it's making you feel better within a short time; a sign of otherwise good health, in my opinion.

Obviously family and personal health goes first. I don't think anyone here would be mad if you do not post new videos for a couple of days/weeks regardless of if you're on tour or taking some time off to regain some health or taking care of personal matters.
It would be nice to see how different Tour managing is between Europe and the US. There have to be stuff that's better in one region and some stuff better in the other region.
Other than that some Vlogs are appreciated and maybe you could use some content for the new channel.
I heard a lot about differences in diet between Europe and the US (i.e. Food size, sugar content ...)

Personally, I am here for your knowledge within the metal, for the most part, music community. Your insight and experience is gold to me and I thank you for sharing it with us. You are informative, with no bullshit attitude and are quite pleasant when you speak about others in the industry. And you're pretty damn funny. Your info on the ticket BS alone is invaluable in my eyes. You put the Blue Ridge debacle into perspective for us......AND the fact that you go out on tour and tell us about those experiences is killer. Yup the total package! Aaaannndd since you just asked us if we'd like you to delve into anything; yes. I'm curious - if a venue is not affiliated with LiveNation or Ticketmaster, does that venue get the shaft from tours? There's an awesome venue here in Jersey that used to have a LOT of metal shows and now it's freakin crickets and they are not a LN or Tktmst venue. It's very distressing, LOL!!

I'm STOKED for the tour vlog stuff. I'd love for you to interview a bunch of the "behind the scenes" people. I'd love to hear from FoH and monitor mixers, and from merch managers, and venue staff. I also LOVE electric callboy so anything behind the scenes with them will be a blast.
I love the new direction of the channel. It felt more like a music journalist magazine lately. And when I need a good summary of current topics, I've come here. The insights into everything music industry related are very valuable.

Now that you'll be a tour manager, that is extremely interesting to me too. Everything with detail and your insight, because you know what to ask and you know how to present it. I'd love to hear more about the music industry, I love music and have always been curious about the behind the scenes stuff and thats why I started checking out your channel was for that stuff and the news not really the reactions because meh but the day in the life stuff sounds awesome for me cause its something that I will never get to experience myself but something I've always been curious about. The lifestyle stuff..Maybe, I need to get off my arse and get myself into better shape so it might inspire me to do jus that since you are a somewhat familiar face. Ive been in the entertainment business for about 20 years on and off and the last 3 years Ive been a stagehand, A2, V2, L2 in different festivals and venues in the LA area. Will love if you give tips on how to get into the touring machine. Hope to run someday into you in a venue or festival and get the chance of working with you. Keep the fun videos coming.
I’ve read through a bunch of the comments, but I can’t hit them all, so I’m not sure if this has been brought up, but I’d love to see a series where each episode is a different person/position on tour and what they do, who’s missing from smaller groups or shorter tours, maybe even hitting up the venue side of that equation as well! I stumbled upon your channel during the pandemic and really loved the reaction videos. Don't get me wrong that content helped me get through some tough times, but after a while the reactions became stale. With so many to choose from it turns to white noise. As the channel evolved to more industry related stuff I found myself really enjoying that content. I look forward to seeing how this channel continues to evolve and especially some of the potential of having vlogs while on tour with electric call boy. Anyway, this is a long winded way of saying I appreciate the content and it helps those long nights go by quick. I'm not a fitness nut so I may just give it a follow to give you more support. I like the idea of tour content, behind the scenes stuff has always fascinated me and one of best gigs I went to was at Brixton academy in London, I needed to speak to tour manager and at the time he took me around the backstage area, it was better than the gig, some the vlog stuff would be right up my street, but whatever you do, good luck
