How to set up a Raspberry Pi 400 (or 4) - First boot, software install and demo!

Today I'm setting up my new Raspberry Pi 400 which I recently received as a gift from my wonderful partner! Having a lot of fun.. also it was 36 degrees when I recorded this video. Please send help!

These look brilliant. Can't they boot form an SSD external. I wanna use for a mini Apple TV alternative or media jukebox like a FireStick .

Yeah they’re great!
They can boot from an external ssd, i’ve heard it’s actually faster doing it that way. They’d be perfect for your use case, maybe even just the board version, unless you need the keyboard.

1:01 "The size really isn't that important" well said im happy with my 2.5 inch ssd. Try to update bootloader and user 3.0 USB to boot from helps out a lot im running ubuntu budgie with no issues.

My brand new Pi 400 booted once then nothing. If I try to boot now I get one led flash but nothing else?
