My aunt didn't have a marker for three years. I knew if I died one wouldn't have been placed there. When I found out there wasn't one on her grave I used my vacation pay to buy one.

I have a suggestion for placing a headstone on a celebrity’s unmarked grave: A British actress named Estelle Winwood, who is buried in an unmarked grave in Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Her character was the last client that Perry Mason defended in 1966. She also appeared in such shows as ‘Barnaby Jones’, ‘Police Woman’, and ‘Batman.’ She died in 1984 at the age of 101, and at the time of her death, she was the all-time oldest member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Thank you for this informative video and for the work you are doing to provide grave markers for forgotten Hollywood performers.
Estelle Winwood was the rich old lady in "The Producers" who practically assaults Zero Mostel, who wants her to help fund "Springtime For Hitler." She is identified in the cast credits as "Hold Me,Touch Me." At the time, I thought the actress was in her 90's. If she died at 101 in 1984, she would've been 84 when she was in the movie. Zero Mostel was terrified of her. Estelle was also in "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" (1959.) Estelle, Tallulah Bankhead, and Eva Le Gallienne were all members of the Algonquin Roundtable in the 1920's. She should definitely have a headstone!!

Estelle Winwood commented on appearing in the Mel Brooks classic The Producers (1967): "Oh, that dreadful picture. I can't bear to watch it, even on a small television. I must have needed the money - living in Hollywood weakens one's motives. It reminds me of the saying that nobody ever went broke underestimating the American public's taste"

Very cool of y'all to do the " we remembered you". A quick story. My mom's Mom died in 1940. Long before I was born and my mom was only 11 years old. Her mother's grave had no marker. For 25 years my mom visited what she thought was the grave of her mother, my grandmother I never knew. Money became available to mark the grave and the information from the cemetery office said my mom was visiting the wrong unmarked grave for all those years. Grandma Sadie finally got her grave marker and so did the unmarked grave that my Mom was erroneously visiting for 25 years. My family marked that grave also after identifying the person and inscripted was " you were my Mom for 25 years of visiting". We remembered you!!!

Since I was old enough to go to Funerals and burials for my family , I noticed a small marker that is the resting place of my grandmothers uncle who passed away in 1903 , little Albert was only 9 months old . As we filled the 11 plots since then , his stone marker was broken in half and cemented together . It was on my bucket list and I finally was able to replaced it . Most of my family is there and my brother will take the last remaining plot next to Mom ( his name is already on their combined marker ) . I make sure all the markers are clean and everyone is accounted for . I will be going to medical research for two years and then be cremated and placed in a wooden bust of a Roman Centurion ( don't ask , stories too long ) . I also coordinated Veterans flag replacement for three years for my Veterans group . I spent two years in Germany with the Army and was amazed on how the Germans took care of their cemeteries . One of the reasons I stopped coordinating was because of the terrible condition this cemetery was kept . Ground Hog holes , construction material and discarded materials were allowed to be dumped . I judge a society on how they treat their young , old and dead . This country is in a moral draught as far as this is concerned . I'm 70 now and still doing great ( Karma ) . Thank you and your supporters for doing what you do , you have shown me there are still people in this country who care . God Bless you all !

Roman, who had dwarfism and suffered pituitary gland problems, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, and was sentenced to three years' probation for his matricide. Roman died of complications from CJD on January 22, 2003, aged 38.

She didn’t feel she was worthy, she most certainly was. It’s been very difficult for all of us without her. What I would give to pick up the phone and hear her on the other end, to be able to tell her how much I love her again. She was almost 11 yrs older than me, she taught me more about life that she ever knew. I feel like I didn’t have the closure that I had with the loss of our dad in 2012 to aml leukemia. He has a funeral/memorial service, was buried, and has a gravestone. I find myself when at my dad’s resting place, that I talk to them both. Loss and grief is like nothing else, it’s not easy that’s for sure. I’m always thinking of them, no matter where I am, I will carry them with me for the rest of my days.

Can someone please honor MICHAEL SARRAZIN's grave? He is in Montreal Canada. I've seen many grave videos from Canada and he is on Find A Grave but no video showing this great Canadian actor's grave. He co-starred in films with the likes of George C. Scott, Barbra Streisand, James Caan, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Jane Fonda, Margot Kidder, Eleanor Parker, Morgan Fairchild and on many tv productions, like hosting SNL in 1978. Very sad no one has a video of his grave with all that legacy.

What a wonderful idea to help with remembering these people. Bless all that contributed. I saw your Keep on Trucking shirt. I saw that the actor,Tony Danza had that tattoo with the words & the man. I remember that being popular in the '70's.

this is so nice you folks do this. I have 2 family members buried that don't have markers I just found out like at least 3 yrs. ago. I wasn't born when my aunt passed in 1950 and a half baby brother still born infant in 1969 ( I was 12 yrs old ) I was surprised neither one of them had markers. I'm hoping to get them both as soon as I can. thanks Scott take care
