The work you put into these videos deserves so much more recognition than what you get.
I adore your work. I'm bingeing from the beginning AGAIN! You should get a "proof listener" for your pronunciations!! Louis Nye is pronounced Lewey. I know how it looks, but hey, I didn't name him ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Your Italian is Che Bello!!
Arthur is Da Man! So informative and understated. Excellent
Selma Diamond was a cool, funny lady.💜
I remember when Peter Tomarken and his wife died, I was shook 😥
I was the one who had the honor of finally marking Tony Martin’s grave! Thank you so much for revisiting it, I always love your videos!
"is that all there is" One of my favorite songs from Peggy. Thank you for showing , Peggy Lipton i was a fan of the Mod Squad.
Thank you for including Peggy Lipton. She was one of my favorites. Always thought she was so pretty. I love watching graveyard videos; yours are my favorite.
I gasped when I saw Peter Tomarken's grave. The original Press Your Luck is still my all-time favorite game show to this day. Peter was the perfect host for that show. His charm and charisma helped make that show entertaining, and players trying to avoid the Whammy made it addictive to watch. Thank you, Peter, for the memories.
It’s running on that over the air channel, Buzzr!
He was amazing when hosting the out-of-work ice cream salesman who won over $100,000. This contestant was found to figure out a system for winning the game. People made
him into a crook. Yet, I feel that why not study up on the show? It's only the house that thinks that they must win all of the time. Why vilify the man if he detected a system and made him into a criminal. Watching Peter Tomarken's reaction to each spin by that contestant made the 2-day show memorable.
I didn't even know that Peter T died. Love watching the History in these videos!
Same here.
I was born in March 13 2006, so they died before I was born
It’s crazy how far you’ve come since 2017. Over 300k followers, large chunks of your vids clearing a million views. Congrats dude, you deserve the success
It is so crazy! I’ve been subscribed that long. I love seeing how big his channel has gotten. So proud of you Arthur!!
gush much?
I have been watching that long too I love this channel.
its my favorite channel!
@@Marcel_Audubon I like seeing people succeed ☺
The amount of talent buried in this graveyard is just incredible. RIP.
The Peter Tomarken story really made me sad. I had never heard of him before today but I hope he and his wife are at peace.
Same! I’m a game show fan and I miss him dearly! That’s why press your luck is one of the best game shows I’ve ever watched!
Wonderful. We older fans of Louis Nye know he pronounced his first name LOU-E with the S being silent. Thanks for all your historical films.
Ahhh the beautiful 💐 Peggy Lipton.
Arthur, you deserve 3-4x more subs than you have, I love your tributes to everyone that you visit.
R.I.P. Gordon Lightfoot ❤️🙏❤🙏

Rip Gordon Lightfoot
Ive been around the world and back to see departed celebrities in every corner of the globe courtesy of this channel. Long may it continue!
As you can tell, we all love these videos Arthur, and we look forward to new ones whenever you send them our way. Thank you! Selma Diamond was also the voice of Spencer Tracy's unseen wife in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Howard Morris was also the voice of Hanna-Barbera's Ricochet Rabbit in the mid-1960s, and played Professor Lillolman in Mel Brooks' High Anxiety.
Howard Morris also played Professor Kelp's father on The Nutty Professor.
It's a Mad World is one of my favorite movies. Everyone in it was a star. I'll bet they had fun making it with all those comedians cracking each other up.
Howard Morris directed one of my favorite comedies from the 60's "Who's Minding The Mint?"
Bing! Bing! Bing!
Nice to see a cenotaph for Tony Curtis in LA, or, as animation buffs might note, Stoney Curtis in The Flintstones. Thanks for your service, Mr Curtis, as SM3 (Signalman 3rd class) in the USN in WW2, 1943-1945.
My grandma (RIP) and I used watch Press Your Luck when I was younger! To carry on her legacy, my dad, her son, and I watch it every summer! My dream is try out the show someday to honor my grandmother!
I really wish this was a TV series... new episodes weekly. Arthur you are the best.
Thank you Mr. Dark for your hard work, & letting those of us unable to travel see where our favorites are buried in the U.S. & around the world.
Love it!! And Rasheeda Jones daughter of Peggy Lipton has Quincy Jones as a dad. Great parents!!
Could any day be better than when a Hollywood Graveyard video drops
Love Gordon Lightfoot. Best story teller in music history. Absolute Legend!
Look at how far you have come since 2017, absolutely amazing. I thought I was a weirdo because I was so enthralled and preoccupied with cemeteries and the graves of the famous, until I ran into your amazing channel and all of the amazing people that follow your channel. Your productions just keeping better and your level of class and empathy is second to none in your videos.
*1 month after your post, Arthur's vids have made me more aware of the nature of a lot of cemeteries in the LA/SoCa area. I've never given them much thought until just now. His vids on Rose Hills to the east & Hillside to the west, etc, make me realize how the format of grave markers instead of headstones goes back decades & gives a cleaner, tidier, more sophisticated look to a cemetery. lol. I also didn't know how many graveyards in the LA region have mausoleums (large structures) that reflect plenty of time, effort &, yes, money. There's a certain showbiz quality to aspects of some of them*
I'm not Jewish but visited this cemetery a few years ago with a friend whose family was buried there. So impressed with the kind courtesy the staff and grounds people showed us and also visited a lot of the celebrity graves.
I love visiting cemeteries wherever I roam. Your channel is right up my alley. The Older the better. Love seeing the old engraved upright markers and seeing where people came from. In a KS cemetery the oldest stones say Born 18## in Russland (Russia). Sadly some of them are now so old, that years and weather are making the engravings harder to read.
I think the next time I visit LA, Hillside might be the next cemetery I take my parents to see. My parents want to go because an old family friend is buried there - Mark Lacter, the late husband of mystery novelist Laura Levine - and it's such a beautiful place with so many famous graves.
Arthur, you're consistently good. And disciplined. Much appreciated. I look forward to the next episode. When it arrives I know that I am not dead.
I know it’s a cemetery but the way you narrate takes away the sad & makes it more enjoyable.
Another awesome presentation. I had no idea Peter Tomarken and his wife died in a plane crash. Very sad. Press Your Luck was one of my favorite game shows. On a side note, it's amazing how many stories you uncover when researching these gravesites. Keep up the fantastic work.
I've always loved visiting Hillside. The workers there were always welcoming, touched that one made the effort to visit.
Another wonderful journey that you have taken us on. Thank you Arthur for the wonderful stories you share with us about the talented stars who are no longer with us but stars in the heavens. I always learn something new every time one of your new journeys comes on.😃😃😃
I saw the entire run of "The Mod Squad" the last several years, and Peggy Lipton was brilliant in it.
Thank You for Arthur for revisiting Hillside Memorial Park. It's on my favorite cemeteries. Rest In Peace, Peggy Lipton, Larry King, Thelma Diamond,
Dude, your grave tour videos are my absolute favorites. Lots of graves, and you still take the time to give a brief history of each. Concise, and to the point, but still entertaining. And all delivered in one of the most well-spoken, ASMR-worthy voices I've ever heard. I absolutely LOVE your stuff. Subbed after the first one of your videos I stumbled upon. Thank so much for the awesome content and please keep it coming!!
Amazing work, Mr Dark. You never fail to impress with your detailed commentary and never, ever a bad word to say about anyone.
Thank you for this video. When I was a teen, I wanted to be Peggy Lipton. RIP sweet lady.❤and all of the other great talents.
Awesome! Hillside #3 Spring revisited was just as Fab as the other two! I always learn something new! Like I didn’t know Howard Morris was a Voice Actor as well or Connie Sawyer never wanted to be a Star or who wrote Popeye the Sailor Man Song! Really interesting and a Delight to see and pay respects to those who gave so much Entertaining others! Thanks for another Fun Tour Arther! It was Joy to Join you! 💁♀️
One of my favorite game show hosts, Peter Tomarken was a great guy and a family man. Thank you for visiting his final resting place.
I remember watching the Mod Squad and having a crush on Peggy Lipton. May she rest in peace. 🙏
Oh, the delight in discovering a new Hollywood Graveyard. It's 3 am but I had to watch it. Thank you, Arthur, for honouring these iconic and wonderful entertainers and allowing us to share your journey.
THANK YOU for all your hard work, both in research and production!
It's always a joy to see the newest video!
This cemetery is totally awesome!
Thank you very much Arthur, for another great video. 😊
Love Selma Diamond! Remember "Nose Jobs For Peace?" Sandy Baron played Lenny Bruce in the 1960s movie. Howard Morris...GENIUS! So much talent here!
Thanks Arthur, another great one. I have relatives at Hillside and it is wonderful to see the views of this beautiful cemetery from my living room here in Kangaroo Flat Australia. Cheers 🦘🎶🇦🇺
Eyyy fellow Aussie
I remember that 2017 is a good memory
Selma Diamond….I love her in My Favorite Year..
I couldn't click on this one fast enough!!!!
Thank you Mr. Dark for well done and well presented videos. Always great to learn more about the actors from the bygone ere to present day.
Paying respect to the beautiful Peggy Lipton❤💞💐
Julie in the Mod Squad
I so admired her
Rhonda Fleming was stunning. And Tony Curtis will always be a favourite. Another great one Arthur - Cheers.
Aren't these wonderful? Its nice to see the famous people but its even more interesting to put names to faces - those actors that we 'know' but don't really know. Thank you Arthur - always so interesting and entertaining.
I had the pleasure meeting Tony Curtis many years ago or if you remember the Flintstones ....Stoney Curtis.
I believe Mr. Nye went by “Louie”. Love your videos.
I always enjoy how you show who they were and what they were known for. It’s amazing through the years how you remember their face but not always their name
To come Italy to say a prayer for Michael Landon shows the respect and devotion to the big stars on screen. And the way that you present their final resting place with the upmost respect demonstrates the kind of person that you are. Thank you Mr. Dark!!!
Silvana was praying to Michael Landon. Even among Charedim (“Chasidim”) whom pray at the graves of certain Charedi rabbis (whom they often call “rebbes”) and others whom they consider tzadikim, praying to Michael Landon would be considered absolutely disrespectful. In fact, it would be absolutely considered not kosher in the least.
@@NicoleCzarnecki you misunderstood. She was not praying to Michael, she was saying a prayer of thanks for him.
🙌 I was really mad just now. Then this popped up on me. Now I'm calming down. Thanks ❤❤❤
I remember the fist time I saw this vlog. Many years ago, when this vlog was born... I was sick at home from work, for 2 weeks, it was winter, cold and rainy days.
I spend my time in bed with nose congestion and fever, 🤒🤧😪 but you relaxed me a lot, this vlog was my favorite friend company ...
I watched a video after another. And still my favorite today! Thanks Arthur !
Greetings from Italy 🙋♀️🇮🇹
you speak an great italian.....from an italian ..👍👍👍🇮🇹🇺🇸🇮🇹🇺🇸
You have done so well!!!! I'm a fan, and, your presentation, and the respect and gentle information are so comforting. Thank you for all you do!
Always a pleasure to watch these - so very well done. Thank you Arthur and all involved.
I wonder if Larry King is doing any interviews in the afterlife? RIP all late celebrities and thanks for the video upload Arthur!
Larry now has the greatest interview of his career, Lucifer
@@errorsofmodernism7331, exactly!
I have been enjoying my morning coffee in my Hollywood Graveyard mug! =)
Crazy how we say this is a small world, it happened I recognized most all of these folks, really sad man but thanks for keeping it light and not depressing, life is depressing enough. Wish I could of seen Michael Landon.
We've all missed you & your very interesting videos. I still say you're the very best of the best with how informative & respectful you are with those you visit. I hope we start seeing more of your videos again. God bless 🙌 🙏 you Arthur.
P.S.
You speak absolutely beautifully fluent Italiano 🇮🇹 😊
Congrats Arthur! 300 hundred thousand that’s really something.
I am so glad we have a channel like this on UA-cam!
Its so beautiful and poetic. Thank you Arthur for you amazing job! Cheers from 🇧🇷
I admire all of the research that you do. The portion of difference in your posts is the respect that you give to people who have passed away. The historical info is fascinating! Good job!
I love it so much when you take the time to visit the Jewish cemeteries! The lonely little yahrzeit candle at Larry King's grave broke my heart, though.
Just what the Dr ordered,a new Hollywood Graveyard. Thank you once again Arthur and Hollywood Graveyard for another excellent video ❤
Wow thank you for doing Howsrd Morris Rrnest T. Bass
yes woohoo 🎉🙌 🎉 a video . i been waiting for a new one . thank you Arthur very appreciate it. its crazy most of the main actor's in night court are now passed away
I love how upbeat, yet very respectful of the many graves you've visited. Your voice is soft with a warmth that is comforting. Great job you do. I look forward to seeing more of your work as you help us remember all of the Hollywood stars that have been laid to rest!❤
I really enjoyed this one...and this is such a beautiful cemetery
Always look forward to your latest release. Always respectful and gracious of those being remembered
Love the choice of background music, it screams Hollywood in the 30’ 40’s
I LOVED Earnest T. from Andy Gridfith. My mom told me about his writing talent. I also liked Selma Diamond and Pegfy Lipton. Peter Tomarken's death hit my family hard. He had a brother who taught at Miami University in Ohio
Excellent as usual! You never disappoint Arthur.
This is another one of your great videos. I sit glued to them and hate to see them end, wondering what happened to our movie greats. Without you and Giuseppe we would never know. Thanks! Very happy to be a patreon member.
I enjoy watching Hollywood graveyard I like it so much that when it ends I have to watch another one even if I've seen it before but can't wait to see another new
I've been in this cemetery a few times. That waterfall where Al Jolson is buried is breath taking! Really beautiful and a true attention grabber!

Arthur thank you for bringing back so many memories of actors and singers I have loved. God Bless and Be safe.
A great tour as always. You always do such a great job of telling the history of the people that your talking about. Excellent show.
Another great video, thank you ! That's sad that Louis Nye still has just has a marker and he passed away on 2005 ! Monty Hall and his wife both passed away the same year. I wonder what happened.
Marilyn died on June 5, 2017 of what was believed to be natural causes.( three months before Monty Hall) She was 90-years old and lived with Monty in Los Angeles, California. Monty and Marilyn were natives of Canada, but became United States citizens in 1949.
@@pata299 Oh ! Thanks for that info about them I didn't know. And straightening that out for me, I guess I just saw the year and not the date. I used to watch Let's Make a Deal so often.☺️
I love how you did that Press your luck board around the graves like that for peter tomarken Very incredible and also Finally after years i finally gotten to see the burial plot of The late Great King Of News Larry King Thank you Arthur Dark You're amazing and Incredibly Awesome
Looks a Beautifully maintained and set out cemetery .
Selma, i remember the original night court. Thought Peggy Lipton Jones would have a nicer grave.
Your voice is very soothing Mr Dark
I absolutely love your videos and I watch them everytime there's a new one that comes out. They always teach me new things that I didn't know about that actor or actress. Thank you for making content that is exciting. Keep making amazing content.
I remember Connie Sawyer playing a patient on Becker. She would always walk real slow to the exam room.
That fade away you did on Peggy lee's lets keep dancing was haunting
Wow...I was just thinking to myself today that I really want a new Hollywood Graveyard episode...and blammo! Thanks, Arthur!
BTW, we mentioned you on our podcast recently! :)
Omg Arthur you don't know how much I adore your videos I have binge watch all of them so happy to see another amazing video my friend hopefully you will do another part of the strange video sensational job ❤

I really look forward to these videos!! Much appreciated!! Your a very talented filmmaker Arthur!! Love all your stuff!
Another masterpiece by Mr. Dark. I always give it a like BEFORE I Watch because I know I’m gonna like and love it. Glad there’s music over the vid because it’s too eerie without it. U just hear birds, airplanes flying by but with this soundtrack which I downloaded makes me not be afraid or depressed to watch. 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Cyd Charisse was a lovely, graceful dancer who had several movies with Fred Astaire.
