  • In this video we go through parts of removing the intake manifold on a MK6 GTI to install injectors, and clean carbon off the intake valves. If you guys have any questions, or want to see a very detailed video of this process leave it down in the comments and I'll make one! Follow my boy @beng_pr

    Thanks for the video!
    Why did it need new injectors? Is not that a lifetime part?

      wtf I have never seen anyone tap a thread with a power drill, that's insane to me. Not only that, he used a power ratchet for the intake manifold bolts into a cylinder block...

    • @benjb8377
      @benjb8377 3 роки тому +1

      Should be done every 30-40k depending on the performance of your car if you got tune and bolt ons i suggest every 25-30k

      @@benjb8377 just went k04 on my gti after being stage 2 for a while and my car didn’t start for about 4 months and after 100 miles on it with new manifold and fuel rail and everything else my injector (I’m 99% sure) got stuck open getting on the freeway for one of the first times. I changed coils and plugs and still have misfire code for cylinder one and smell fuel and it’s dripping out the exhaust. Getting new injectors and having it carbon cleaned as well. I hope it fixes it! 😫

      @@benjb8377 just the same p0301 code on cylinder 1. It has to be injector so I’ll just have it done for me at this point and the place will walnut blast that shit out before they replace em.

      @@benjb8377 damn 500 😮 I wouldn’t trust stock motor with that much. I plan on rebuilding my engine if I’m lucky enough to get 200k out of mine. I’m at 123k rn. But everything surrounding my engine is new so I plan on keeping this car for a long time since I put so much time/money into it.
