I’m having problems with my gti 08 mk5 I’m getting a code p0507 and I get a high idle and the car runs really ruff I changed spark plugs and wires high pressure fuel pump also I have a forge pcv valve with the oil catch can and still having the same issue
Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak and from research I’m seeing the same answer. Possibly a rear main seal leak an intake leak bad valve cover etc. I’d get a smoke test done and go from there. Also may depend on what motor it is as 2008 got both engines depending on its build date so it’s either a fsi or a tsi
@@douglasdiaz3789, previous owners installed no name injectors when they did a carbon clean and replaced the intake. The injectors they installed were no good. Which was causing the misfires.
Yes we know but being it was even across all the cylinders we didn’t see an issue. The low compression was due to the cylinders being washed with fuel due to crappy Amazon injectors that were flooding the car. It has since been repaired and running great!
love the 2BrokEurOwners name. I know the feeling Good luck with the gti. I had a mk5 too
can't find the next part of this, any one can help?
Thank you for sharing your experience, may I know how coding new injectors if no number in it and only part number ?
