I think in this application turbos or pro charger might be the quickest. Even though I love everything about a Magnusson on an lt…. The fact that you have that instant boost of torque from the electric motors on the front tires, that lets you spool up the turbos/ pro charger for their top end dominance while still launching like a monster…. If you keep the front tires down that is… lol. Gonna be fun

E Ray is really cool. Best of both worlds with the instant torque of the electric motor and still have the V8 sound! AWD is great too!

I also tried to contact a wheel hub motor manufacturer years ago for a Viper project (this was like 2008) and was told the same thing. And the money was there for it-- they weren't interested.
As for gas mileage, they report it helps with AFM mode. Slightly better city MPG and slightly worse highway, but that's due to drag from the widebody.
I'm noticing it's the same average mileage so far.
But I can tell it stays in 4 cylinder mode in higher demand areas, like even going up hill, thanks to the electric.
@@completestreetperformance the engineers have all said on video, multiple times, the Eray offers no fuel consumption benefit over the stingray, only performance. If you think 160 horsepower is worth 350 lb of extra weight. Regardless, twin turbo yours ASAP and post the acceleration times

Lingenfelter and Paragon are doing one right now. I'd personally go with the Lingenfelter 427 NA set-up if I were spending that much, but it's all good stuff

A Turbo eRay will be the best C8 ever. I personally dont care for the 5.5 that will come w turbos for the ZR1 and awd for the Zora. 6.2 is the way imo. So an eRay w turbos will definitely be the best.
