The AFM valve is more for back pressure purposes when running in eco. Sound is a nice benefit. I have an M6 Camaro so luckily I don't have to worry about them
As always very informative video! Are the Blackwing Kooks headers the same as the Zl1, but with different connection pipes? Would your CSP Camaro headers fit a blackwing. I have 2inch kooks cat less on my Blackwing.
Does unclipping that plug under the front of the passenger side grille remove the baked in electric motor sound? If so, does that mean there’s a speaker that’s producing the sound somewhere on the outside of the cars inside cabin?
You should do quick video or add it to your next vid about why some cars (auto or stick) are dynode in 5th gear compared to 6th gear and the HP difference between the 2 and the reasons why you would choose 5th over 6th.
Maybe it's just me, but I kinda think the stock exhaust sounded better. I prefer a deeper tone. Maybe the Corsa system might sound better in person. There is a dramatic difference between Quiet and Rowdy mode with the Corsa setup, though.
Well if you didn't know there was a NOS pill in the bypass rubber hose for the 2650 to slow down the bypass valve from snapping open and closed, man you better call someone. Guys pull it out and get more of an on/off switch for boost. Its bad on the C7Z and the ZL1 with the 2650 if you take it out. I have one on my maggie ZL1 (came from magnuson that way). Pulled mine out, and put it right back in after a very violent drive. Destroys the drivability without it in there. That Smooth boost thing as I said, is for the whipple cars that dont have that NOS pill in the bypass hose to add restriction to the airflow back and forth. Pull one out and look in the rubber hose that goes into the bypass on a ZL1 or C7Z maggie 2650 kit. I know you have one on hand.

Well his videos are great. I stepped up to a GTR and have no business watching GM tuning videos, but I still enjoy watching the goofy MFer. I like Andrew, he's the only one untrusted with my GM stuff and the only one I will recommend to others. He has also developed this really nice salt and pepper hair, irresistible tbh.

whats the point of these cars... you need all the mods to touch a plaid, only to eventually chase problem after problem when it breaks b/c built poorly... Tesla 1020hp factory warranty taking these things to gapplebees with a 8 year 150k you can literally do 1000's of passes in the quarter ask andrew from tesla plaid channel and no maintenance cost. fanboys "but the sound" "the emotion" hold my electrons. Plaid does it anywhere any place anytime say otherwise and you're just a jealous hater. 🤡
