Looking to improve your scoring as a small guard? You’ve got to finish over the tree’s in the paint! In this video, I break down the four essential shots that every guard needs to master get buckets up against big men. The first is the floater, allowing you to take advantage of midrange opportunities. The second is the teardrop, which requires a soft touch (which I have a tip about). The third is the up-and-under move, perfect for beating shot blockers who always go for the block. Lastly, learn how to manipulate shot blockers by creating contact and getting into their bodies. First one to make contact wins! Master these 4 tips and you will undoubtedly score more as a small guard!
