Who's That Girl is one of those "So bad, its good" type of films to watch. Sure it was a flop, but the music...who couldn't resist such awesome 80s style pop that takes you back to a time you were born in that decade and didn't even know too much about Madonna, other than her earlier albums released at that time.
I do admit I was never a huge Madonna fan but have always liked this song a lot, always felt this was one of Madonna's least appreciated songs of her career and the radio stations never seem to play this song or "Who's That Girl" often on the radio anymore.
Raymond Nolan Scott again, she had much more popular singles. This song should have stayed number one for a lot longer than six measly weeks. Also, this song was only #2 on the hot 100 for three weeks. And it was #37 on the adult contemporary charts. If you're gonna mention charts, list them all.

Of course, the movie 'Who's That Girl' totally bombed here in Australia, as I think it did everywhere, but the title track did pretty well in the charts. This song didn't do well and I only heard it once or twice on the radio. I liked it but must admit, didn't fully appreciate it. That is, until I saw her perform it live as part of the Blonde Ambition show, and it feckin' ROCKED!! One of my favorite parts was when Madonna was pulled over by the cop, and she said "Officer, my husband is having a heart attack, I need to get him to the hospital, is this the way?" And she's pointing to a "Dead End" street sign! I loved that part!
As an 80s baby I wish I could explain to younger ppl how big Madonna was. She's not the most beautiful woman, but every man wanted her. I didn't have one friend that did not find her attractive she had a female swagger that is hard to explain.
