there need to be more study on this bird's nest and what it compares to other creature's saliva, such as human, dogs, snakes etc. Basically to my knowledge, anything can be consume whether it's Bird's Nest or Your cat's poo poo. All will have some nutritional benefits as well as how you prep it up for eating.
