I actually made the switch from Apple to Samsung from watching your s24 ultra video. It has been a great phone; it has a little bit of an adjustment. Thanks for the great content. Your videos make my programming heart happy!❤
I switched last month to S24U after a decade with iPhone (had a brief stint with Pixel 3) and overall I have no regrets. Cameras, screen, battery life, the physical design, niche things like android compatibility with retro game emulation are all amazing. Things I do miss so far are Apple Pay/Wallet, seamless pairing with my AirPod Pros, and some very minor but welcome quality of life features (auto fill seems to be better on iPhone, auto correct has been terrible on Android, less random hiccups). Long term, if Apple make improvements to their hardware, I can see myself going back, but I am very much enjoying my time with a new experience.
👏🏿👏🏿Enjoy your time with your Galaxy. I use both an iPhone and a Nothing Phone with a Windows 💻. All my devices are interconnected : everything i do on my iPhone, on my Nothing Phone and vice versa. Total freedom.
The amount of variety on Android is a constant temp for me but I cannot get past the lack of on board functionality (Messaging) and the criminal amount of data that Google siphons off of these devices, uses, and sells. The security of the data as well as the integration with existing existing devices and apps are dealbreakers for me. Love your videos!
Nice to see someone finally addressing what it really means to switch between Android and Apple. I've always found little to choose between the hardware, it's always the software, ie apps, that was the deal breaker for me. Still not found good replacements for my favourite Apple apps. At the moment, that is what stops me switching.
I switched to the Fold 5 last year and it was cool, but not very practical for me honestly. I really loved the S Pen feature and the customization, but the other trade offs were cumbersome. It was heavy, and sharp. I'm left handed so the finger print was awkward. It's gigantic which I hate about most phones these days (including the smaller iPhone Pro). Then the pen was loose. I had nowhere to put it, unless I used a case then that just made the phone more massive and heavy. And that doesn't even go into the software frustrations, but I'll just say I love Face Unlock and MagSafe. It really sucks how behind Apple is with a lot of technology, but the trade-off of things just WORKING with Apple devices is a little unbeatable for me. I'll probably try again in the future if the Folds get better.
I love the S-Ultra line, but my wife hates that she can't facetime me, and apple pay is my absolute favorite. That said, I do carry an iPhone for work, so I could always use that as an excuse. I would like to try the S24+. I think it would be the perfect phone for me considering I have no use for the S pen and you can get a refurbished one for a pretty decent price. I've also thought about the Google Pixel.
one question i get in my mind and it amazes me, that you got so many smartphones ranging from s22 ultra to s24 ultra to iphone, pixel 9. you definitely don't use all that phone in your daily life and phones just keep laying around.. so here's a question, do you charge them often since they mostly stay flat..how do you care for them.....since most of the time they sit at the husky drawers.
Yo bro...Happy Diwali.... 🎉🎉...May your channel continue to grow and reach new milestones....keep up the good work bro....wish you the very best...😊😊🎉🎉
I made the switch for the first time from all apple everything for 10 years to the Samsung fold 5 last year and it was soo liberating and awesome, now my rotation is iPhone 15 pro, Samsung fold 5, and galaxy s24 ultra and to be honest I’m loving the android and Samsung time more than the iOS time…its just so old and boring and android and Samsung makes it all exciting again! Love the content brother!
I have 15 Pro Max and video is perfect. Details. Wanna switch to Pixel because I’m so irritated of Apple policy. Warm greeny photos sucks. Photographic style doesn’t fix the problem.
4:03 for whatsapp Try these steps Note (keep the sim card on ios) ( OTP should be done at last only and don't let auto verify) (Use cable to transfer) (In smart switch it'll come automatic you just want to activate the whatsapp) 1. Open whatsapp on ios 2. Enter the first 5 digits of your OTP and remember the last number 3. Open whatsapp settings in ios 4. Open chats in settings 5. Then scroll down to transfer chat to android 6. Then when the scanner opens complete the OTP in android
Awesome skit lol. I dunno, sounds like you're happy with what you're using! Kinda just shows that we all have different priorities and preferences. It's funny, I've been using iPhones exclusively since the 4S, and I've used FaceTime like... 5 times ever, I almost never use AirDrop (usually just use iCloud or Google Drive to move files around), and while I like iMessage, I still use WhatsApp a fair bit anyway so I don't view it as the big Apple ecosystem slam-dunk many people seem to. And yet, I know Android isn't really for me at the end of the day. I just find iOS more intuitive, usually like the hardware more, and like Apple's core apps more than the Google equivalents. I liked the suggestion to have your other devices less tied into all the messaging/ecosystem stuff. I've kind of done the same and have started to view my PC/MacBook as more purpose-specific devices, and leave all the messaging, calendars, and general life stuff for my phone to handle. It's pretty nice tbh.
16:48 more choices for Android accessories. 17:53 I nulled notifications from most apps on android and apple, except bank and shopping because i got to know, got to monitor those.
I found the switch from Apple to Android much more easier than switching from Android to Apple. IOS was very convenient but it had too many restrictions, you can basically do whatever you want on an android phone.
I have always been a android user and I have tried to use iPhones for like 3 years but android it's just something different and even though I use a MacBook I would much rather use android over iPhone as it's just better for my use currently using a pixel 6 and probably will upgrade to a s24 ultra or the next ultra Samsung device when I decide to upgrade.
I've been moving back and forth since 22' but now I don't know why I prefer a bit more the Android system. What always calls me back to Apple is the Watch. I can't find a worthy successor for that. My company phone is an iPhone 13 base so I can use it, but then I have to carry 2 phones which is sometimes fustrating. Also that everyone using iPhones in my family (thanks to me lol) iMessege and AirDrop is a huge miss too... Also video is on iPhone is unbeatable. With all that in mind I should go back to Pixel from the 16 Pro! :D
This year I'm switching from the z flip 4 to the iphone16. The z flip was the most fun phone I've ever had and has a lot of functions that I'll miss, however, the hinge is starting to fail and a replacement costs 600$. This time I'll go with the iphone but maybe in a few years I'll go back to android again since I don't have an specific ecosystem
Love my switch to s24! However, one one thing that I still cant get used to is everytime that I use the swipe back gesture, it first closed down my keyboard so I have to swipe back twice...any solution to this?
Man wanna buy Mac mini New one, Make a video for - especially for developer work. Mostly web development. And light video editing. Is the based model will be ideal ? Pls make the video faster
Ive at times considered getting a pixel in past but got more in to apple ecosystem and have been so used to it but ill probably stick too it for now unless i end up wanting to change things up but the is video was awesome and definitely gave me different perspectives
How do you go about your cellular data on all your devices? Multiple lines you switch SIM cards in? Only hot spot from your primary to use some of them? Always been curious?
The best video ever seen on the subject I've been banging my head for 2 years but I've never made the real leap now thanks to your video I think I'll do it, greetings from Italy
Even sane people in the US also use WhatsApp and other database-encrypted messaging apps. It's only an iPhone thing to use iMessage because it gives them satisfaction to see blue bubbles on a crappy phone that they paid $1k for.
Apple's strange design decisions in the iPhone is getting me to consider switching to a Pixel. Lack of Touch ID on recent phones is confusing to me (I don't want to look at my phone to unlock it and am still using an iPhone SE) and why the iPad Mini can have Touch ID but not the phone is odd. Also that camera button that's also a trackpad on the newest phone is interesting but if you hold your phone in portrait orientation in your left hand like I do then it would be awkward to use. I dunno, I think someone at Apple wants to force their ideas on product design when it is sometimes nonsensical. The nice thing about Android is the choices you have (which can be a double-edged sword). I've been playing with an old Motorola phone I got for free from a friend and currently have LineageOS on it. Works just fine for my experimentation. I aim to use it enough to get very familiar with Android and then switch away from iPhone.
Samsung myfiles and the gallery are the two most best apps ever that are irreplaceable. On iPhones the shortcuts app and apple notes are also the two most best apps ever that are irreplaceable And faceid is convenient but the animations make it feel so slow
Pixel 9 Pro Xl was closest i’ve been to coming back to Android. Just need to bite the bullet and do it. Cant stand the Samsung blurry camera’s for my kids so they are out until they figure that out.

I ended up going for a pixel 8 pro but ended up switching back to an iphone 13 mini because I love the size. My next phone will likely be the normal size pixel 10 pro
The reason i havent switched to Android yet is because there is a very important app that i need to use that is iPhone optimised and has a special feature that android does not support, ive tried on a galaxy s24 and never worked, thats the only reason im still with iphone...

It really depends on your preference. I don’t feel either phone is better than the other, but I do believe that Apple ecosystem is very hard to leave.

- Doing same on iPhone. added accounts to Apple Mail, power off then back on so the various calendars can sort out. - Probably should consider limiting those to 30 days instead of possibly choking my iPhone storage.
- Supposedly, in Mail settings, you can grant access to Apple's * Calendar, *Contacts *Mail, and *Notes.
- I will be surprised with the Google accounts about what might or not be possible with Contacts or Notes.
- i recall years (2015) ago, how we sometimes had to configure the Google or other mail servers, etc.
- probably need to decide if push or fetch is better for pulling data down.
