This way we can hopefully keep bringing you free content in future.
I think they drop the weight because otherwise they can't readjust the rack height for the next guy. Don't think they're trying to be assholes
oh, that makes sense
And also to save some energy for the next lift
Yup look at 1:20 the guy forgets this and almost re rack the weight but then just drops it
Also this is a competition, not the gym. Their main concern is to perform the lift. They have people on the side to re-rack it. It's normal
The most impressive is the guy who cleans the bar back in place after each Squat..
i shamefully admit i had to go quite close to the end of the video to get that this is a joke... was expecting someone to be shown cleaning it lol.
Fr bro 😂
2:23 "Oh wait, f*** you loaders"
LXAsx457 heh heh
+LXAsx457 hahahah
The US should host something like this! Might not be as impressive but still entertaining
Maybe....but nowhere near as high profile as this
+Steve Ornelas we do kind of have this. the rejected non competition lifts of weightlifting. it's called powerlifting :D
@@Goriaas 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Goriaas Lmfao
It is impressive what are you on about.
For some reason when the photographer is shooting at the descend of the lift, I keep thinking it's their knees cracking!
They need to do this across the world and every year
I love this shit
What a great idea for a competition.
Polovnikovs hernia power belly ftw
lmao powerbelly
does he have hernia?
Polovnikov and the other guy going neck and neck with the big Polish in the end was fascinating to watch
am I the only one that wants to see them retractaway? I'm glad that one of the guys actually attempted it.
What is the name of first lifter, he looks very young and not very buff yet lifts tremendous amount of weights
Jason Lemus he's not Max Lang
who is he then?
Tony Stark I heard he’s Vladimir Yakuta
Tony Stark his fucking knee though scared the shit out of me
Best leg day ever
I watched this, the strict press and snatch deadlift and can't get a read out of who lifted what weight.
It got insane around the 600 lb mark
616 pounds
It was insane from the start. FSing more than 500 is massive
No weight labels.
👍👍👍
where does Klokov lift! they left him out
yeah... see, the bar couldn't hold more weight so he decided not to lift... to easy for Dmitry. x'D
Klokov said his best front squat ever was 282kg.
If the camera angle was a little more in front we could tell how much they were lifting.
Gotta get my front squat game up man. I at least want a 405 front squat, been stuck at 335 for the longest.
My best also. Strong enough to do more but keep getting choked the fuck out.
@@Lordoftheswollen front squats are a terrible pleasure lol
my problem with front squats is breating. Once i get my target weight on the bar, it presses down on my chest too hard for me to get in a good breath. I've tried shifting the bar forward on my arms and a few other things but can't get it right.
anyone have some suggestions?
If you are doing singles you might be able to breathe, unrack, and squat in one breath. It is part of the challenge of front squats though.
@@mattdouglas8900 - thanks for that, i'll try it this weekend!
Matt Douglas - just wanted to thank you for the advice, it worked very well!
I did front squats yesterday and took them up to 95%, all in one breath. made it feel easy, but I have to admit, I nearly blacked out and saw stars after every rep. going to attempt a PR next weekend!
@@gordlawson11 I'm glad it helped! I received this advice from Brian Alsruhe's youtube channel and I would highly recommend all his videos. He has lots of cues and form tips that I've never heard from anyone else and they all seem helpful.
Re-rack your weights!
Weightlifters: nah bro
Polovnikov ended with 280 kg! Its pretty good for front squat
Not bad for an early-intermediate lifter.
@@Sealed_Chamber >early-intermediate lifter
Pretty good... who are you Hercules?
PrEtTy GoOd?? Man, fuck you.
“Pretty good” LMAO
cant even tell how much weight is on the bar with that angle..
D4Y DN they started at 220 kg (4 red on each side) and Vasiliy failed the last at 290 kg (!) (5 red + 1 green (10kg)
Wolfspider alright thankyou! :)
Wolfspider isn't the collar an additional 2.5 per side so started at 225?
kalikaiz yeah, my bad. 225.
Wolfspider cool i am not used to kilos and was just trying to get myself straight. Thanks!
What the fuck do they feed the kids in Russia? These guys are fuckin superhuman and strong as fuck.
it's not about Russia or other country, it's about dedicating your entire life to this sport, I believe any guy in any country would be as strong as these guys are, if he dedicated his life to weightlifting.
P.S. Sorry for my English, I hope my idea is clear for you.
dude chill. i was just talking shit.
where d f does the weight shows
this is a real strongman competition.
no
+jooodsdssdd This has nothing to do with strongman
This is very impressive, but the most impressive is Tian Tao 290kg front squat at 96kg Body Weight...
Tian Tao, Toshiki, Keydomar, front squatting 280+ at around 100kg each is ridiculous.
Think Gabriel Sincraian did 280 @ 85 with the most beautiful technique ever.
edit: actually cant find that vid anywhere but theree is a vid where he does 240 for a double which looks like he couldve done 4-5 atleast (which would indicate a 270-280 1rm or thereabouts
@@monkynutss711 Tian Tao did 280 @85 flawless too (did it at least twice), also did 245kg for a double with 4~5 more in the tank, in fact his squat form is the best I've ever seen. In leg strength they are pretty equal
dude, i thought i was imagining Tian doing 90. I SWEAR there is a video of him doing it, but i can't find it anymore. any ideas?
Who's the first guy?
dooshtoomun Dunno'
looks like max lang.
@@navinybt No, he's like 15 cm taller than Max Lang.
who is the lifter at 2:15
Daniel Johnson Albert Kuzilov from Georgia
Where's Dimitry
The biggest guy failed a rep and then started using the stretch reflex.
06:00 what is he saying? :)
***** He is saying to calm down. Probably to stop the bar's motion before starting the squat.
Sergiy Turchyn Thanks! :)
Шо, трудно на стойки вернуть? Как писали ранее, "RIP loaders".
У атлетов разный рост, под каждого раз нужно фиксировать стойки, подбирать высоту фиксаторов.
No spotter needed.
Уася
Who's the first kid? Dude looks like he doesn't even lift, but front squats 225kg
StoutNerd o
Re-rack it?
Bruh every competitor is just a monster of a man.
Какого хера все роняют штангу?
