I installed that monster ram on my 2017 ram 3500. When I had an issue that I caused, banks had several people helping me figure out what the problem was. I am super impressed with Banks. @@All-Miles-Matter Thats a good way to get your truck keyed or blocked in. unless you park far away where there is plenty of spots but most dickheads dont do that.
Usually if I try to squeeze into one spot with my dually, it makes the doors of vehicles facing me on both sides inaccessible. I just park way at the back anyway. Easy. Walking 30 yards is never the end of the world, and I consider it a small inconvenience of having a big truck in a parking lot designed for cars. Mine is a work truck, but even if I didn't need it I'd still have a big 3/4 srw anyway.
I just got an 18 2500 and would LOVE to put everything on it! I definitely feel like the Banks products opens up the truck to how it is supposed to feel and perform.
I dont think its increasing peak power or torque that much, it helps the engine not work so hard to achieve the pressure, thus reducing engine wear/fuel consumption.
Never will happen. Banks like to play by the rules. (Which is great) I’m putting everything but the derringer on my ‘22 and running block off and a delete tune. Once I can get a reputable dyno shop I’ll bump the power SLIGHTLY. (Lookin at you 68RFE)
@@trigger8152 oil separator is still playing by the rules. I would totally do the egr delete tune and plates, but I have to do emissions so becomes a headaches swapping everything back every 2 years

I have a completely stock 2017 Cummins Ram 3500. Not high output, not a duelly, and with a 68RFE transmission, 4x4, crew cab. Empty around town and area rural roads I average about 19 mpg. At highway speeds empty I average around 22 mpg. Towing a 6000 lb cargo trailer at highway speeds that drops to about 13 mpg. And strangely enough, towing a 15,000 lb fifth wheel RV at highway speeds it only drops one more mpg to 12 mpg.
The Cummins 5.9 HO was the last good economy engine. I bought a new 2006, 3500 4x4 extended cab and it got 23 MPG on trips at 75 MPH, bone stock and 3.73 final drive. The real solution today would be the opposed piston Achates which could easily double his 21 MPG. Look at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show Ford and the ACE 1400 CC diesel made for the military.
If you get out of Cali & into another state that doesn’t require emissions testing. A state that only checks emissions or an inspection every time ownership is changed you can get away with a stealth DPF delete by just running a tube in the center of the DPF or just doing what people did to pre-DPF diesels that came with a cat but never got tested/they would just make a hole in the center of the cat. A DPF delete is easy to do, now getting it to pass emissions is the tricky part. Depends on ur state.
I would like to hear Banks input on the CP4 high pressure fuel pump and the design flaw that allows the roller cam followers to rotate and dig metal contaminating the entire fuel system with metal. The CP4 is used on 2011 to current 6.7 Powerstrokes, 2019-2020 Cummins 6.7, and was used on 2011 to 2016 LML Duramax. RAM had serious issues (pending law suits) and has gone back to the CP3, Ford has major issues and blames fuel (customer is forced to pay 12k to fix) and GM has and is being sued over it. The L5P Duramax 2017 to present uses the Denso pump. Check out S&S Fuel's videos on this pump. What does Banks have to say about all of this?

He is stating he was getting terrible mileage and only after installing the banks equipment the truck mpg increased 60% to 100%. This means his truck had an issue which was resolved with the banks equipment install but was not required. He simply could have fixed the problem with the OEM equipment. Basically this guy is saying he was getting terrible mileage and a miracle happened when he installed the banks equipment. If he was getting 20 mpg his mileage didn't go to up 32 to 40 mpg after installing banks. If this were true everyone would be driving diesel trucks with banks equipment.
I have way more Banks products on my truck! Big Hoss bundle, Data Monster and 3 Super Gauges. I think the only thing I don’t have yet is the diff cover!

It depends what settings you choose and how you drive the truck. If you choose Track mode, yes, your fuel economy will suffer. But less aggressive settings like City 1-4 will only negligibly affect economy.

But the banks peddle monster fix's EGR lag, without it , it doesn't matter how far you push the peddle . The computer wouldn't allow the truck to go, but this little simple device, makes the truck safer to drive . From the Ram factory , they make the truck super easy and smooth , now to hurting MPGs , it not relevant. To the truck's job. But knowing it there and ready to go , makes it safer to drive.

Towing trailers hauling cars, box load of scrap or running empty it always read 16mpg. That is mainly highway tho as I lived an hour outside of the city but was making 1-2 round trips a day.
I have an 06. I was getting about 28 to 30 babying the sht out of it. I had the auto mind tuner on the econ setting 32 inch Falken at3w tires. Cat deleted, 30 inch 4' magnaflow muffler and a monster ram. I had waste gate clamped, air box gutted and a kand n filter oil removed. The Auto mind tuner is nice but its 110mph limited. It was $259 earlier this year. There are higher power options for that price but none will get you the kind of mpg banks will get you.

Unfortunately Banks power has limited parts for the 05 Ford Excursion 5.4 L. They mostly focused on bigger engine trucks

Chrysler has issued a recall for the CP4 on the 19-20's. I received it over Thanksgiving weekend and discussed it with the dealer this week.
