- I watched the Disaster Movie, the lowest rated, and generally considered worst, movie ever. Disaster Movie is a movie about basically nothing. It claims its a movie that is parodying "disaster movies" but it doesn't, there is also no plot and it is not very funny

Scary movie is actually good though. It's the only series out of the 'movies' category that was actually a good parody movie. I heard epic and superhero movie were funny too but I haven't seen them in forever and don't remember much

Note: The writers of this movie Did not write any of the scary movies (hence scary movie is actually funny) The reason there credited is because they made a small draft for a simular movie to scary movie but the script was so bad that the waynes brothers who made the first two bought the right to their script because it was so bad, so they bought it so it couldn't be made

I remember when i watched this movie for the first time. I was like 13 or 14, and my mom and i went to the theater totally oblivious of just how bad it would be. It was very awkward when the dirty references came up. However, since we had such a good time talking trash about how bad it was on the way home, It has a place in my happy memories.

The exact thing happened to me. Only we saw vampires suck. I was mortified that we actually paid money to watch it

Fun fact. When you said how they didn’t even now how parodies worked and they make no sense. Apparently there was a rumored where the directors of disaster movies and the others didn’t even watch the movies and just looked at production photos and told the crew to “make it look like that”
a lot of the movies parodied in this hadn't come out yet so they only had trailers for reference

Wow, I didn't even know I watched this as a kid. The ONLY thing that was vaguely familiar was Alvin and the Chipmunks with bloodshot eyes, ripping out the spine of someone.
I’d forgotten about that weird period of time where it was just… parody movies. I loved them when I was 10 but god damn, horrid to look back on.

Scary Movie 1 and 2 are legitimately solid films. From 3 on, they just slide into what THESE movies would eventually capitalize on.

Disaster Movie was a classic when I was growing up. Showed me girlfriend recently and she died at all the references.
I remember watching it at sleep over in middle school. We all thought it was hilarious. Yes it’s bad, but the movie is product of its time and imo funny as hell.
The directors of Disaster Movie did not write Scary Movie at all, the only reason they are credited was because they had write a film with a similar premise, so the studio bought their script to avoid confusion, literally nothing they wrote made it into the final script of Scary Movie, and the reason they can make movies is because one of the directors dad has some sway in Hollywood

I was 50-50 on whether or not I'd even seen this film before, but I must have because I definitely remember the Juno character, the mad princess and the crackhead chipmunks (also the "I'm fucking Matt Damon" song, though idk if this was a parody of that or is the actual song). It was all such a blurry mess I couldn't tell if it was familiar or not...certainly forgettable though.

Also, I’m convinced that most of, if not all, of Disaster Movie was shot in front of a green screen, which is why everyone stands around in a semi-circle, and not interacting with anything.

Do you know what's the saddest thing? The directors admitted that *THEY DID THE MOVIE IN BASE OF THE TRAILERS* and not watching each movie.
When you guys get asking "why is parody dead?", think about this: A studio gave them 20 million for a script that they wrote watching 360p trailers on the 2008 UA-cam.

But I'd rather they only do it with Anna Faris, Regina Hall, the Wayans brothers, etc. Marlon Wayans did say he might go back and reboot the franchise since the Weinsteins are no longer owning the rights. So, either they come back and make a new R rated Scary Movie or let it rest.

Age of Ultron was kidna good according to me. I didn't like the relationship between Bruce and Nat and I didn't like that they killed off Pietro, but Wandas entrance to the MCU was great and Vision was also introduced in a good way.

Disaster traumatized me as a child, specifically the alvin and the chipmunks scene where they FEAST on Juno’s back, so since then I made sure to always sleep with my back to the wall so that the singing rodent trio didn’t consume my spine.
They should watch the horrid Henry movie and every time “school horrid Homework and Henry ” is said they have to take a drink like so they can see

I was like 7 when I saw this with my mum. She said it wasn’t scary (which now I know it isn’t) but then, when Alvin and the chipmunks came on, I screamed 😂cried my eyes out and got rid of all my movies of them. I hated it. And till this day I never knew why I hated them so much and you just reminded me, this godawful movie

I actually asked Matt Lanter about what it was like starring in the worst movie ever made. His response was to laugh and talk about how fun it was actually making the movie. Apparently everyone was just having a blast and goofing off on set. So I guess at least some people have fond memories of this film.

I remember being at a Church Youth Movie night when it was first on DVD and we watched this. We only made it to the bitter end of the movie, before the pastor finally gave up and asked if we wanted to switch to something else, to a resounding "yes".

I'm not familiar with this youtuber but I don't see the point of making a serious review like this on this type of movie anyways. He made every "safe" point possible. He even felt the need to acknowledge beforehand that we would judge him for almost laughing at one of the jokes in the movie like how much of a sheep can you be. I'm 22 and some random stuff in the movie did make me laugh, people gotta stop caring about how "proper" they're sense of humour SHOULD be.

I remember seeing bits and pieces of this movie as a kid, forgot about it for years, and swore it was a fever dream I had all up until like three years back. I need to go watch it just to see if it really is _that_ bad.

Age of Ultron is not that bad. Yes it doesn't come close to some of the other marvel masterpieces but the movie was merely a stepping stone for better characters and character development. So it was needed

Freddy Got Fingered (2001) was given an honorary -1star rating, making it the first(if not only) movie to ever recieve a negative rating. I believe the critic that rated it also said it was "an abomination."

Dr. Phil has a storied history of overseeing reality shows and such that destroy peoples' families, finances and homes for his exploitative profit.
At a surface level glance, he seems nice, but yeah, there's some serious evidence that he's basically just a con artist who calls himself a doctor despite losing his license years ago, and that's not even getting the youth camp he's promoting that's rife with child abuse and neglect.

I remember watching this movie and loving the "unrated" song at the end. Really its just a lot of people saying "fuckin" a bunch which to 14 year old me was hilarious
And in the censored/PG version I remember watching, they replace “fuckin” with “dating” instead.
