    These lil' tractors are great for garden care, cuttin' the yard (large)........Another popular garden tractor is the Ford 8N........etc etc..

    You do great work. Really excellent presentation.
    But all these vintage tractors should have SAE90 gear oil. 140 will not flow optimally especially in cool weather. Check your owners manual. Maybe if you were doing heavy load field work in 90°+ climate , for many hours , then 140 could be appropriate. It's the additive package and GL rating that matters. SAE90 is optimal.

    How many tractors do you currently have? Do you restore them to sell or keep them?

      Number of tractors is in the teens. The Farmall C was sold to a guy who put it in a container to send to his home in Guatemala. Its cool to see picture of it being used there.

    Nice work, I’m restoring the same tractor. I noticed when you grab the fan belt it moves the crank, mine doesn’t but the engine is free. I did replace the crank pulley, not sure why it doesn’t move freely like yours. Any idea?

    • @thesmallenginekid
      @thesmallenginekid  Рік тому +1

      Make it tighter. I put a 3foot pry bar under the fan pulley to tighten it.

    I know it's a little bit disappointing. But never give up.its trial and error.youll figure it out and it will be stuck in your head.then next time it won't be a problem.
