Great job and well-deserved victory! I watched it from beginning to end with great pleasure. The greatness of parents is in their children. And this is a great example. I'm sure this is just the beginning. Good luck to your family and prosperity! Sincerely from Russia, the city of Tambov!

That old Weldon welder that put up for sale on marketplace. would be A good candidate for one those harbor freight predator electric start horizontal shaft engines. Because they come with all of the sensors on them to. Like the automatic choke sensor.,an idle control sensor and low oil crankcase sensor inside of the engine block also. Which helps with preventing of blowing up your engine.,or throwing A piston con rod through the engine block on them as we'll. That has engine powered generator/ welder would look cool. And sale really good with one of those ghost red and black predator harbor freight engines on it for sure. Updated and upgraded makes for more income in the long run. That has been mixed with modern.,an old-school technology built in one complete unit. I'd just save the original small horizontal shaft engine to send with it as your more income part of it all.

The band should have adjustment in it but the steering pedal is hanging like the spool on the valve is sticking it’s nothing major. You’re doing great.

Have you had any issues with the cb? When I hit the mic on my cb it makes my truck idle higher or lower or completely kill the engine. I guess it’s not an uncommon thing in the 7.3’s. Signal bleed from the cb messing with the icp readings?

You didn't even check the oil. Sitting that long. You think you check the oil and antifreeze.

You have one of the earlier models of the 100 because of the battery box being able to fit a car battery into because Cub Cadet thought that they need a bigger battery to turn over the 10hp engine. Two other things to tell you that it's an early model the rear end is a little different than the later models, also the shift handle is a little bit longer on the earlier models. And if you look at the top of the grill there is no cut out because the bolts for the little hood ornament would get caught on the grill so on the later ones they notched out the top of the grill so it wouldn't get caught up on the bolts. So I would say that it's a 63 or an early 64.

It's probably from the 1960's? I say that because of the rope start pully. No recoil system. And it has points type ignition.

Andrew - great problem solving on that welder. A note: Kohler K241 engines are, as you have seen, pretty much bullet proof. The coil inside the flywheel is a little cumbersome. Most lawnmower Kohler set-ups use a standard coil as you rigged up anyway, so if it were my machine, I would modify it to mount a coil on the block and be done with the coil inside the flywheel. Much better arrangement.

On the other hand, this may Not be the road you want to travel. Regardless of what career you choose, you will be Very Successful. Remain ~ Focused. Positive. Mentally & Physically Strong.
