Pete, As you talk to the camera and to the equipment, parts, animals, etc... you remind me of how Bob Ross talked to the camera and his paintings. You are the Bob Ross of farmers!
Great Addition with the Benny Hill reference! Made me chuckle. You do good work Pete, always enjoyable to watch your content. Looking forward to see the new front end in action!
The 2nd camera makes a big difference in the way the red paint appears! It's things like that which you do which make this a special channel. Reminds me of the time I helped a friend paint his 64 Opel Kadett Caravan wagon - bright red like yours! In a garage with a small fan exhausting the air... to this day, we can see the red tinge on the fan blades 50+ years later if I go visit his parents house. One of the only families I know who still live in the same house from the early 60's. Thanks for bringing us along, Pete!
I love your videos they have taught me a lot. I’m 17 and I’m a tractor mechanic with my granddad we both watch your video and he loves them to . We have a big garden and I have my one we have a about 30 chickens were rebuilding the farm and I like to watch your videos while we do so thank you so much and have a great day.
What a difference the cameras made! I thought at first you were rebuilding Barbie’s tractor! Way better color with the second camera! Keep up the great work on this beauty!
You do a super job restoring the Farmall tractors. My favorite, the "H", brings back a lot of fond memories on my grandparent's farm in the early 50's. Always look forward to your videos.
Nice job on the paint work and the restoration. Reminds me of when I painted my pickup truck in my garage. Poly everything, wet down the floor and install make shift exhaust fan with furnace filters. Doesn’t stop all particles but better than nothing. And I’ll probably never paint in there again cause no matter how well you poly paint finds a way of getting on things that weren’t intended…lol
Pete, great job explaining about the painting. You made sure to have proper light, to see what you were painting. Many beginners make that mistake, and miss spots because of it. So glad you showed proper ventilation, and masking also. Thanks for the help. Oh yeah, you are so right about the turn in from wide to narrow steering.
From what I've seen Paint quality of the Tractors you have done is better then what was done at the Factory. Lots of places were missed at the factory because everything was Red even the belts and hoses. Quality of the paint itself is also way better.
Thanks so much for taking the time to detail your painting process. That info is invaluable to me as there are so many choices out there and I know you have had great success with what you are using. You’re going to love the narrow front on the C-so much easier to steer and maneuver than the wide front. I’m sure you’ll be doing doughnuts in no time!
Pete, as someone who is working on rebuilding their own farmall, I found your video series VERY helpful! Can’t wait to see yours back together with that new front end! Makes me excited to jump back on mine!
Pete..... absolutely love all of your vlogs. I do really love the ones that you do with your cattle. Your cattle really do like you and Hillary. Happy painting!!!!
Excellent video Pete - I love sharing your content with my kids. "Farmer Pete" is a favourite and they are always enthralled, whether it's tractor restoration, electric fence maintenance, or everyday chores. Thank you.
Beautiful. Something about these old tractors getting new life to add to its history and giving it a 2nd chance for another 50yrs to do what it was intended for.
I think it was very smart to go from wide front to a narrow front. Obvious reasons and you can keep the wide front to something else. I like how easy it is to follow the steps in this video. If I'm going to start painting again. I will go back to this video and follow the steps.
Paint prep makes all the difference! You do it right, and it shows! And you get what you pay for, cheap paint fades quickly, and does not tolerate UV. Very nice!
I had a 1954 Ford naa and I had to sell it because I didn’t have the mechanical knowledge to fix it and keep it running day to day. You restored my love of old tractors Pete and give me the interest in trying again! Thanks for all your videos
I am so glad you put that tricycle front on your super. My father-in-law bought a super c with narrow front brand new in 1953 along with an IH refrigerator still in use on this farm. I have brought a couple hundred loads of hay in on the barn floor and spun that c around on a dime to go out for another wagon while that one was unloaded. He was an IH man with a c h 350 400 and 560. He passed away at 97 last summer. He and I tackled a lot of the jobs you have videoed. He farmed much the same fairly peaceful way as you do for over 80 years. He looked forward as I do to all your videos.
I was really waiting for you to go through the "so far I haven't had any memory loss" part and then come back around and start over again. That's what I was waiting for, the kind of dad joke built into it.
I can't believe how well engineering is on those old tractors. That is like a work of art. It's like my ROLEXS, taken care of will last a lifetime. same with your tractors will become family heirloom Pete. You are very talented. You know so much about engineering, it's a gift. The internet is amazing. I could do anything on my 1969 AMC AMX 390 WITH THE RIGHT SEARCH. NEAL
I sure appreciate all the video effort you do to share this with us. Painting and setting up camera shots. Great job. The other camera that shows the color better is lacking in the audio department. Love watching these rebuilds.
Hi Pete, great finish work, love ❤️ the red paint job. Look forward to to wheels and tires adding to the beauty of this Farmall Super C tractor. I have to say these old tractors you restore are so much better than anything you buy new. No plastic or cheap light weight parts that tend to wear out and break in no time. Pete say hi to Hillary and you guys have a great day. Bye for now.
Awesome 👍 still slowly restoring my 50yo Yanmar. Literally painting as I work on it. Engine rebuilt in place (love sleeves and a good crank lol) painted that.. going to next part... Just terrified to get done. That means sheet metal is all that's left. You're right you can fudge on cast iron but sheet metal tells all!
As much as I wanted to see the MD when it was done, I want to see the Super C even more. Even though I've never owner or used one, I am fascinated with the small 2 row Farmalls. They are the 2 row version of the off set 1 row Farmalls I've always used. Outstanding paint job Mr. Pete!
Pete, love your channel. It is a pleasure to watch and listen to you talk. You got such a humorous ways with your one liners and your story. I can't wait to see the final product. For your tractor.
I thought I was busy but you are at a whole different level! Thank you for thanking all the time you do to make and post your outstanding videos. I have a 1940 Farmall H and what you have put out is excellent!
Painting especially with a new HVLP (see I learned something!) paint gun, is my favorite part! Yes! The better camera used last definitely shows the best Int'l Harvester red color!
It’s a narrow front celebration 🎉 Gloria!! After all a 1/2 mile is a long way to go just to turn. You are very humorous and quite entertaining mister, and you’re right, not a tick to be seen thank heavens. Once again the tractor is beautifully painted I was especially glad to know you will continue the imperial measure battle as it should be. I’m looking forward to the full Super C.
Looking good Pete ! We're recalling enjoying the restoration one step at a time 🦶👍...you make every episode a pleasure! Pete you would make a great teacher and mentor. You are so pleasant calm and thorough. I've said this many times to you...I just want to remind you of our admiration of you ! You are indeed a man of great character ! Ohh and Hilarie...keep in mind behind every great man is a great woman ! Y'all are an inspiration ! 😊
Looks great Pete! Growing up as a kid, we were all red on the farm. When by dad repainted our B with woods mower, he used green CheckRust paint as a primer. Before it got the finish coat, by brother and I pulled a couple of plug wires, and started it. Dad caught us at it, and almost disowned us! Said if you want one of those green ones, go move to the neighbors.
Pete...I love the idea that you show EVERYTHING about your Farm including the Re-painting of your old 'Tractors' it shows Farms do have other things to do in quiet times and to get things ready for your next harvest! In-depth mechanical videos are very detailed and very informative to those who feel to watch. Personally I think they are interesting, it just goes to show that farming isn't all about Animals and hey and feed. Thank you and your wife for sharing. 🇬🇧
Well Pete you and Benny Hill did a great job painting. From my perspective it looks like brand new, well done. I can't wait to see the whole tractor as it's ready for its next 70 years working for you and Hilarie. Take care ,a brilliant vlog , Thanks so much, Cheers from Canada.
WOW! Big difference with the different camera. I always have to laugh when you give your speech for all the safety Karens. 😱😖😂 You pretty much eliminate their "buttinski" and "know it all" comments. Also admire your decision to not interact with the peanut gallery…some people just like to stir the pot for the sake of seeing what kind of reaction they’ll get, but you don’t give them the satisfaction of falling into that. Love your channel! Oh, before I forget. Fall Line Ridge mentioned you when he was using your trailer trick for getting the pigs ready for freezer camp. His pigs just marched in before even getting any food…they were that curious! 😂
I grew up on a Super C with narrow front, still have it,my great grandfather bought it brand new. I have never found another tractor that will perform any better when turning, i think you will be very happy with the change.
Pete, Love your channel cause you are real....pragmatic....sensible....great sense of humor and you treat your animals with such respect!!!!!
That was very sweet. You are one hundred percent. Neal
O
Major progress!!! can't wait until it's all painted and running again! You do amazing work Pete! thanks for sharing
It looked super good couldn't agree more
Thank you for not apologizing for being normal and doing things the best you can with what you have at the time you have it !
Crazy how the paint shows so differently from one camera to the next. Nice job!
WOW That looks good.

Hello Pete, now that you have two paint guns, use one of primer and the New one for Paint. Great Job Pete !
oh my god, the new camera makes a world of difference for the color! Nice work on the super C!
Looking very Nice Pete, thank you for filming this restoration and giving us all a chance to see it come back to live as a beautiful work of art.
What a difference the cameras made! I thought at first you were rebuilding Barbie’s tractor! Way better color with the second camera! Keep up the great work on this beauty!
Hey Pete - Kudos on an excellent job so far with the tractor - Super nice project thanks for sharing the experience
You do a super job restoring the Farmall tractors. My favorite, the "H", brings back a lot of fond memories on my grandparent's farm in the early 50's. Always look forward to your videos.
The time, cost, expertise together is impressive.
Nice job on the paint work and the restoration. Reminds me of when I painted my pickup truck in my garage. Poly everything, wet down the floor and install make shift exhaust fan with furnace filters. YES! My favourite part ❤ Get that paint on and make her look lovely.
Tractor videos are my favorite. Thanks again for sharing.
I am really looking forward to seeing this put back together! Nice work.

Yes sir, You did a nice job painting the tractor, Got to love Benny Hill. Have a great day Pete!!!

Pete I am very pleased with your paint job. you do excellent work. God bless youns.
Always a nice break from politics to visit your channel.
Thanks Pete
Keep doing what you are doing. You bring back happy memories of my summers on a small farm in northern Minnesota. Thank you Pete.
WoW , great call on the different camera regarding the deep red differences. As always it just does me good to view your videos, Thank you so much !
Man! That looks really good! Good work, Pete!
Pete, as someone who is working on rebuilding their own farmall, I found your video series VERY helpful! Can’t wait to see yours back together with that new front end! Makes me excited to jump back on mine!
Great to see you again mate hope you are all doing well mate Joe
I thought it was legit red until you used the second camera. WOW! what a difference.
Watching paint dry. Very satisfying.
You’re going to be the envy of the neighborhood when you get the Super C done.
great looking tractor so far. The paint made it pop!!!
Well done Pete! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series.. Your best build yet imho!
Pete..... absolutely love all of your vlogs.
Thank you.
So satisfying. It looks solid and ready to hang parts from.
Beautiful. Something about these old tractors getting new life to add to its history and giving it a 2nd chance for another 50yrs to do what it was intended for.

What a joy it was for my husband and me to help you paint today! Your videos always make us feel like we are right there on the farm with you.
Thats so awesome to make something so old as good as when it was sold to the first owner. These things will outlive civilization.
Paint prep makes all the difference! You do it right, and it shows! And you get what you pay for, cheap paint fades quickly, and does not tolerate UV. Very nice!
It is starting to come together. Can't wait to see it all back in one piece purring like a kitten ready for another 40 years of work.
Wow the paint looks great, nice job, Pete!
Looks great! Can’t wait to see future Super C episodes as you put it back together. As always, thanks for taking the time to share your day!
I had a 1954 Ford naa and I had to sell it because I didn’t have the mechanical knowledge to fix it and keep it running day to day. You restored my love of old tractors Pete and give me the interest in trying again! Thanks for all your videos
Super awesome 👌 looks great! I would really love for my M to look like that.
Really looking good wish I could see it in person love old tractors that's been restored with fresh paint beautiful
I am so glad you put that tricycle front on your super. My father-in-law bought a super c with narrow front brand new in 1953 along with an IH refrigerator still in use on this farm. A fresh coat of paint on an old tractor is so satisfying.
I don’t know why, but watching your channel relaxes me. Maybe it’s the voice coupled with interesting content. Keep it up.
Great video Peete. When you clean and prepay surfaces properly, it always turns out great. It is looking good.
I'm so glad that you are restoring another one of your tractors, old equipment restored to new life is wonderful .

Pete, Your prep and paint work is excellent and correct. I am a professional in the paint and coatings industry (45 years)
Looks awesome Pete. Cant wait to see final product and hopefully binge watch the rebuild.
I sure appreciate all the video effort you do to share this with us. Painting and setting up camera shots. Great job.
The other camera that shows the color better is lacking in the audio department.
Love watching these rebuilds.
I'm really excited you are putting a narrow front end on the Super C
So exciting to see some paint going on
The Super C is looking fantastic! Lots of good info I will use when painting my Allis Chalmers.
Hi Pete, great finish work, love ❤️ the red paint job. Look forward to to wheels and tires adding to the beauty of this Farmall Super C tractor. Super job on the Super C, Pete! It's looking great!
Painting especially with a new HVLP (see I learned something!) paint gun, is my favorite part! Yes! The better camera used last definitely shows the best Int'l Harvester red color!
Satisfying results. It is the journey....not just the restored tractor. Happy traveling toward the destination of improvement .

Always nice to have a shiny new coat. Cool to give back to our equipment that gives so much to us!!
Huge progress! Congrats! loved the decision to turn it into a narrow front! Best regards from Portugal!
My 54 super C is a tricycle. I paint in my shop too. You actually get a better job because you take more time in prep and cleaning.
Pete, The paint job looks stunning, it will continue to look great another 70 years! Thanks for sharing!
Again, a master at his craft at work. Thanks Pete.
Your channel never fails to make me see red during the fall and winter months.
thanks for the beautiful work of the first painting of the super C. have a great day.
Like the change to the narrow front, great video Pete as usual.
I don’t suppose “pretty” is the correct word to use on a manly tractor but, it’s pretty!
Well Pete you and Benny Hill did a great job painting. From my perspective it looks like brand new, well done. I can't wait to see the whole tractor as it's ready for its next 70 years working for you and Hilarie.
Take care ,a brilliant vlog ,
Thanks so much, Cheers from Canada.
The Super "C" is looking great.....! A 70 year old New Tractor, as you say.....! =)
Getting all gussied up for the spring plow. Nice job and it shows.
That second camera was much better. Thanks Pete.
Looks great Pete!
The Benny Hill music was a hoot!
Keep Smilin!!!!
Looking great Pete. When you get the C finished, let us see the MD, the H, and C sitting side by side. I love the old Farmall's.
Good afternoon Pete from the rainy afternoon in Ireland 🤗

I grew up on a Super C with narrow front, still have it,my great grandfather bought it brand new. I have never found another tractor that will perform any better when turning, i think you will be very happy with the change.
Amazing how a camera can change the tractor from an Allis Chalmers to a Farmall. An awesome paint job, thanks for the paint tips, will come in handy.
