thank you, I was just diagnosed with pneumonia and looking at my chest xray watching this helps me understand.
I dr. explained it but what the dr was pointing at / saying. I'm just going "I hear ya doc and I see where you're pointing but I recently found out I have Pneumonia so I'm in no condition to learn about lungs and xrays so sure, that right there is the thing doing this. how do we kill it, get me better" -my internal monolog.

Basic x-ray class? That's like saying I'll take a basic nursing class.
I have for several weeks noticed i started to cough more,shortness of breath,sometimes to the point i woke up and couldnt take a breathe.I was told i had copd and severe asthma and never smoked.I was a firefighter and around second hand smoke.Then when i took deeps breaths or just breathed my right lung hurt.I finally went to the hospital they took a xray looked like white cloudiness on my right lung but it was so busy after 3 and a half hours left.Wish i knew what it was and never found out on my xray.What do i do?Still having problems

My son is 6 and was diagnosed pneumonia last Thursda Apr 18th. He had a chest x-ray which showed the infection. He is on two antiobiotics and had a second chest x-ray reading today in which the doctor said did not improve at all. He has to go back next week for more tests to see if it is something else. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE if it is not pneumonia??? He swallowed his marconium(sp) when he was born and had pneumonia for 4 days b4 being released. He has been strong, healthy, athletic boy since.
I do plan on going to another hospital and use to get pneomonia alot when i was a kid.But i never had that feeling like i couldnt move no air.After using the nebulizer it loosened up a little with some phlegm coming up but can never get it out.HELP

my son was four years old. he is continuos cough , xray tells lung infection is the reason for cough& doctor gave us some antibiotics one week no cough after one week started continuos cough please give any one suggestions how can reduce continuos cough to my 4 years children

i have most all pneumonia symptoms but my xray came back negative, my breathing is good, and all blood tests show i am a healthy guy and no mono. been sick for well over a month and been only getting worse with symptoms worsening or lightening to varying degrees daily. symptoms include:
- fatigue and weakness and oversleeping
- joint pain mostly in neck and jaw. really sore but good range of motion
- muscle soreness
- chest soreness and some pains
- neurological symptoms such as unable to think clearly, confused, sudden dizziness, light headed, limited memory/memory loss, limited peripheral vision, slight dementia, and constant aches in my head and neck. feel really really dumb/ cant think
- feeling of indigestion
- feeling of malaise, hurts to be alive, but generally mood is not affected
- "not feeling normal in my head"
- weird taste in mouth when i wake up
- sudden periods of coughing/dry cough until deep phlegm comes up
- sudden closed air ways, asthma attacks, anxiety/panic. have not had this since i was 8 years old.
- pressure in head, ears need to pop but they cannot pop even from yawning or other methods
after all tests were done doctor speculated that the cause is anxiety. I know my body very well: i run, bodybuild, play sports and never have i been this run down from anxiety. the odd sore neck or stress headache but nothing remotely feeling like this or lasting a month... i believe the anxiety to be a symptom and not a cause per say. i waited in emergency after one of my asthma attacks for 4 hours. described my symptoms to the doctor and she told me she did not know and its probably anxiety. Could anyone provide me some feedback or what i can do? i will likely have to see a specialist but do not know who. All i can think of for causes is prolonged mold exposure and maybe a meningitis but thought that would show in bloodwork... I feel like death and need some answers
If your breathing is good then it isn't pneumonia
when i was 6 i suffered pneumonia....and that was the first time..today im 19...

my son was put in hospital with bilateral pneumonia. His xrays does not lk good. He is on antibiotics. They are going to give him a biopsy. He cannot talk a long period. What type of treatment

I was told i have bronctitise in both lungs but still suffering from sever asma attacks and feel like i am going to faint. I have been sick for 6 weeks and am only 31.. docs here cant even find what the hell is going on with me. pulled around like a little pupet who is going to sue soon. i am very sick and need to get better soon. Im tired of this shit!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Reflux. Also sounds like you may have pluricy but you need to go to a Doctor. People can't just 'tell' you if you've got something....
iv chest infection now for last 2 months yet stepascpe shows clear well I'm so sick started as chills swears headache dizzy weak ill nausea. n still am not well first doc underdosed me amoxicillin n bacteria became resistant IDIOT now nothing working n I'm being ignored coz they can't hear it there is bacteria in my lung n I could bet my life on it I have tightness n numbness n pains n discomfort on physical activity along with the ill feeling n weakness headache dizziness etc..what a joke am I ever gonna feel well again?? have tried lots different antibiotics but it's too resistant n nothing's working...first one was working brill but bacteria was never fully killed as not strong enough dose!! can't quite believe it's happening to me!! a simple moderate infection that was easily curable n now it's lingering on with little hope of curing.
