As a radiography student, thank you for this clear summary of how to spot all these pathologies. Chest X-rays are hard to interpret. At least with extremity work it's usually just fractures and dislocations we need to spot.
Really appreciate you putting the time and effort into making this. Awesome quality and helps so so much with what seemed to be a daunting topic before your videos!
I’m a Chest reporting Radiographer looking to get into GEM soon so I’ve been following your channel. Just wanted to say wonderful explainations of these classic cxr appearances :)
True, on an AP there is a bigger distance from the heart to the images receptor therefore the heart looks enlarge due to magnification. The FFD (Focus to film distance) should also be 180cm. A Radiographer plays a big role in producing good quality x-rays! A radiographer should always indicate if the Chest x-rays was done PA or AP and Erect/Sitting or Supine.
First off, as a layperson, thanks for adding that firm disclaimer at the beginning. None of us out here in UA-cam Land need to become Dr. UA-cam. With that said, it’s very helpful to us as laypeople to have a grasp on what studies a radiologist must pass in order to get anywhere near a patient. And even with that said, there are probably still those who are merely mediocre at their jobs. As a lay patient, it’s helpful to have just a bit more sense if the practitioner discussing our X-Ray with us actually knows what they’re talking about or selling us a bill of goods. 👍
A very informative presentation even though I don’t need the review. It’s always enlightening to see a knowledgeable person give their explanation / approach on diagnostics. Thanks for all your efforts and best of luck.
First thing to think about in cannon balls is choriocarcinoma or RCC,,then breast, colon, prostate, endometrial ca. Otherwise very good informative video!
thank you for this video and the first one before this...I just want to share, I can't see the lung edge on the left..for future videos if you can compare a normal side by side with the abnormal that would be great..This video has great value, keep it up and thank you once again!

It's possible for a doctor to misinterpret anything. It wouldn't be appropriate or wise for me to comment on any particular case. But obviously doctors are fallible like everyone else and will make mistakes occasionally.
My heart just keeps thanking you and thanking you Dr Igudia for all you have done for me, you gave me your words that you could heal any sickness or disease, thank you for permanently curing me of my Hepatitis B Virus you are amazing

Excellent.
How do we diaognise asthma through chest xray?
Asthma is not diagnosed via chest X ray. There are a few different tests that can be done including spirometry - but a chest X ray would not tell you
If you were sent an copy of an x-ray could you mark it up the same way you did in this video?
Great Video
Fantastic!
Very helpful, thankyou

You are good man
